@@803dils2 but we all still here watching it😂 it's for entertainment bro no one is gonna be 100% dead on about everything, people need to understand that and do they own research hell even pro journalists get shit wrong that's why I always say do your own research and don't knock people for what they dig up and put out here because it's for our entertainment. Personally I think mr.swamp is one of the best on RU-vid with these type of videos
But nah he can't say these lil niggas runnin the city.. that make us look weak as hell.. and to say Zion city and banks the roughest hoods in BR?? Those new hoods ... u can't forget C.C lockdown, birdstation, brookstown, Fairfield, easytown And you can't mention 5400 without sayin Young Ready
I lived in North Baton Rouge and it was a little rough, but back when I was growing up it wasn’t nearly as rough as it is now. Right now the whole city is wild!
@@brunoblock8057 I hate to say it, but I believe you are correct. I moved from New Orleans, to North Baton Rouge at a very young age, but after Katrina everything changed.
@@DForesightBMT I been hearing about St. Louis since I was a kid, I know it ain’t no joke out their. I was born in 1991, since I been born 3 cities, always make top dangerous cities. St. Louis, Philly & New Orleans.
Another banger. I would love to see a video on Camoflage. Savannah Ga has wild history and is active af. Would make for some great content I feel like.
I live in baton rouge, born and raised. I honestly love it here, I moved to Central where we are basically apart from Baton Rouge but we still consider ourselves apart of Baton Rouge. But honestly- this is very true. It's pretty boring here, with so many potholes, and lots of empty/abandoned houses. I still believe we are growing over time, but pretty much 60% of this video is true.
as a resident of baton rouge for mostly my entire life you summed up the city pretty well, its a damn shame cus the city could be so much better than it is
As a resident of Baton Rouge for 41 years I completely disagree, but then again I don't live a meaningless parasitic lifestyle so I see the opportunities that this clown obviously doesn't
Baton Rouge is way deeper than this. We have 2 major colleges in LSU and SU. Literally there is a party every night except on Tuesday for some reason. There is a reason we only send legends to the rap game. Only the strong and best survive out here. Facts
Who a legend out of BR other than Gates and Boosie lmaooo. Nigga you thinking bout new Orleans. All y'all BR niggas think you need Orleans niggas lmaoo
I mean there's a community garden on winbourne after that they called it a day tf you want them to do, pool the dogfood profits and build a neighborhood pool
i swear half the shit this dude says has me lookin at my screen dumbfounded with cringe. like at the beginning when he says "ya heard me" as if hes hood or some shit
Just subscribed, been watching your videos for a month now. One of the first videos I saw was YG and Nipsey's gang affiliation, I appreciate your consistancy posting videos.
Ghost Town, Easy Town, Mall City, The South (Top & Bottom), 3rd World (Glen Oaks & Dixie), Zion City, Banks Town, Scottlandville, Sherwood, and all other sections..Baton Rouge Stand Up!!!!!!
@@alexandriadamar4193 BR AND NEW ORLEANS HAD THE HIGHEST MURDER RATE IN THE COUNTRY AFTER HURRICANE KATRINA.... LOUISIANA HAS THE HIGHEST INCARCERATION RATE IN THE COUNTRY...AND LOUISIANA HSS THE HIGHEST DROP OUT RATE AND WORST SCHOOL SYSTEM IN THE COUNTRY...AGAIN PEOPLE FROM BR WOULD GO TO WORST PARTS OF CALI AND SAY THIS PLACE LOOKS AMAZING

He does research and gets info from court cases and stuff…the cartel would be a lot of he say she say unless he talking bout old stuff of people who’ve gone down already. It’s a similar but different market
I worked with BME Beezy. Midway through October he told me “There’s already been 48 murders within city limits this month.” The next day he was the 49th.
I visited New Orleans and baton rouge last week majority of the nicest areas in way are impoverished every neighborhood seems like abandoned or you're about to get Rob bad customer service hotel and Restaurants to be fair the city had potential but you can tell the hurricane scar a lot people still to this day but the good things Are the food and weather Also the LSU campus is Very nice!
It’s crazy bro you be on point I was raise in BR for years I move too Okc it’s the samething you might wanna look into these Okc gangs bro they crazy out here
Never mind. I was about to ask why nobody mentioned Scotland, but Y'all hit it. A lot of the violence stems from drugs, and drug issues stem from the fact that young black men really aren't afforded the opportunities others are. It's really sad, because too many young men are put into the position of being the man of the house at a very young age. They have no real assistance keeping their families going, so the quick way to make enough to keep the lights on and feed their mom and siblings. The way the world works down here seems to almost be designed to keep the young people hopeless. I wish things would change, but it doesn't look like it will anytime soon.
Drugs plays a part but most of the violence is retaliation now. It may have once started about drugs but now it’s about getting back at who killed ya Patna/cousin/brother or whatever. Most of the gangs are based off somebody who died from that area. Block banging mostly. Anybody that says it’s about hoods is most likely older. Because all the hoods are divided. The south side use to all be one. Now it’s broke down in multiple different sections who are beefed out with each other. Baton Rouge is so divided when it comes to cliques/gangs.
Young black men actually have better opportunities in today’s climate, the only requirement is they don’t act or look like complete retards. There’s only so much buck passing you can do.
I can tell you being born in the 80s Baker and BR cliques have been at it for decades, its not just the newer generation. The difference is now they are just quick to shoot where as back in the day it was beat someone or get beat...
Long Live everyone lost in this war, but the one that hits me is TrueBleeda, he actually had a great voice & good lyricist in soul survivor & pray 4 keeps & others. sad. LL Donte & Cliff
I been living in Baton Rouge since 2000 been here for 22 years I need to start a new life soon but u just need to know how to stay out the way and stay to yourself
Can you make a video about the other RU-vid channels talking about you I’m guessing it’s about how they feel you’re disrespecting their hometown‘s. Just asking Love the channel like the Contant keep up the good work it’s very entertaining.
I'm from LaPlace which is a small hub between NOLA and BR, we use the term cancer alley to refer to St. John/St. Charles parish but never baton rouge. Did not know anyone uses that term to refer to BR. I believe you that they do, but when I hear anyone say it I have always assumed they meant here.
Cancer alley is an 85 mile stretch between Baton Rouge and New Orleans (all the river parishes)…always been referred to that. If you want to stretch it it goes to St. Francisville because of the nuclear plant 🤷🏿♂️
BR is cancer alley. It starts in BR and goes down past NO. It’s a damn shame. If you live within a few miles of ANY of the petrochemical plants. Even freakin Gonzalez has an entire neighborhood with new 300k plus houses that backs up to a toxic waste site that could destroyveverything next time the mississippi floods.
The shot at 1:32, those apartments we own those and I just noticed how new your flyover is. We cleared the area from trees etc around the apartments not even 2 months ago.
Baton Rouge was never this bad....condolences to all the fallen but it really be over nothing. The city too damn small to be beefing like that. We use to have click songs where every body from every hood got on one song and killed it.🔥🔥 I don't see that happening no time soon with the new gen.
This is accurate…. I’m still out here in BR…. From the mud…. But i’m in one of those suburban areas…. Believe me, there are some of those middle areas that people believe don’t exist out here…. Plus there are several things to do at night out here as we have a booming social register…. But these younguns think they invincible…. RNS…. Got 800 guns and don’t know what to do with em…. Stay with that iron and keep your head on a swivel….
Im from St. Louis and I went to Baton Rouge for the Boosie Bash 2023 and I swear to God I met the most beautiful female I ever met in my life on the day I was about to go back to St. Louis. I wanna go back and see her again. Baton Rouge isn't the best city in America but neither is St. Louis🤷🏾♂️
I’m from STL and live in BR. Stl is a way better city. BR is a shithole no matter where you’re at, stl at least has a lot of nice places. Btw, BR has the highest HIV rate in the country.
Facts, he needs to do Little Rock. I ain’t gonna lie though, I’d bet he has a hard time gettin info about Lil Rock cuz everything is quiet and it ain’t a lotta rappers talkin bout it.
This war actually been going on since the late 80s before anyone you named were born. This Genereation just BORN in it. PLUS Jugg was killed in a town outside of Baton Rouge. Rip in peace Jugg da Ghost. Ben 10 cousin Marv was killed on I-10 in Prairieville
Don't sell your soul out for this world...God's grace covers all when we repent. Choose righteousness...Yeshua (Jesus Christ) is the way the truth and the life. God loves u!
The Beef really started when Young Ready allegedly got a OG from Bankstown knocked off back in I wanna say 2012 As a yungin then you knew not to cross that bridge off on 72nd which is where (Winnfield graveyard) is located
As someone that lived in Baton Rouge for 32 years and still works there, the main reason the city is a sh!thole is because of the mayor and her "doing things different" police chief (who's managed to do absolutely nothing except run up enormous amounts of attorneys fee's due to all of the lawsuits against him). The crime is out of control and they dont want to do anything about it so obviously the criminal element knows they can do whatever they want without any recourse.
Imagine, "Spitting Game Like This", Giving The Folks(People) In The Comment(s) Section All These FACTS, Then Everyone In The Comment Section Just Skip(s) Over It/This BECAUSE They Don't Think, Believe, Etc. I been living here all my life . Almost 40 years. From North BR 70805 . Blue collar skilled tradesman of 17 years. You're only pointing out a relatively small portion of a multi-layered issue which is an issue for many other cities across the nation as well ya dig. Let's be real. We can't even sum up BR's biggest problems in the comments man. You'd have to make a documentary 😂 what you stated has alot of truth to it. But man we not even scratching the surface.
