. Demosthenes was born and raised in Tripoli. He graduated in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and did a Master's degree in Business Administration in the USA. After his studies he was involved in the steel production industry at the company SIDENOR of the VIOHALCO group.
Since the mid-90s it has designed a series of innovative steel products of high added value, establishing the technology of "industrial prefabrication" and contributing decisively to the economy and acceleration of the construction of technical projects.
Since 2004 he is the CEO and shareholder of PRAKSY S.A., a subsidiary of SIDENOR, which is the technological R&D arm of the group. He holds 2 international patents for the SYNTHESIS technology, which he exported with great success to several countries abroad (Singapore, Australia, Israel) and for which he won in 2013 the 1st Made in Greece award from the Hellenic Marketing Academy in the field of Technology.
