This one go hard. Surprised I've never heard it before. Kendrick is my guy STEVIE KNIGHT FIT - / @stevieknightfit / stevieknight - JOIN THE FAMILY shopstevieknig... - FOR THE MERCH paypal.me/skni... - TO SUPPORT THE CHANNEL
Tech had Kendrick, Jay Rock and TDE signed. He had the rights to Kendricks first album and let him walk when Dre was interested.. Cause its Fuckin DRE. And this was actually MAYDAYS song. They gave it to Tech with the beat and vocals and he put Kendrick on it.
@@Ddavidson_ Yessir. It was the tour with E40, Glasses Malone and Jay Rock. Kendrick was actually the "hype man" for Jay. But he did a couple songs in the middle of Jays set. I remember being like Who TF is That! 😤😳💯
@@Dragondrft23 Nah Kendrick was who Tech had picked to be on it with him. Yelawolf heard it on Techs tour bus and didn't think Kendrick could do it. And He wanted to do the song. Tech offered for All 3 of them to be on it, sent it to Yelawolf and he never sent it back 💯💯
Holla‐loo‐yuh is a track tech did with RA the Rugged Man that isn’t well known, but it is the absolute shit. If you are a Tech N9ne fan for real you neeeeeed to know this track. m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HS5-M7XokPw.html
Tech brought Kendrick and Jay rock on tour with them way back when, Kendrick shouted out tech and krizz Kaliko for showing him the ropes and taking him under their wing, Jay rock was signed to strange for a brief amount of time as well if I remember correctly, tech been putting people on!
^^ he did the same thing with Slaughterhouse. In an interview Crooked I mentioned that Slaughterhouse's first tour as a group was with Tech and Strange. He credits tech for showing them how to tour the right way.
Well he is the WiFi lol. If you haven't heard WiFi go check it...he talks about this exactly! Interestingly enough, Jay-Z was meant to be the guest spot but it didn't work out so Tech did the second verse as well.
robert crowley he also wanted yelawolf on this song but Yelawolf thought it wasn’t going to be a “big enough song” and didn’t get back to tech, that’s why tech asked Kendrick. I saw tech say something along those lines in a interview he did.
@@Beau1990 yep, he sure did. Good looking out. It something along those lines. I might be wrong but didn't Yelawolf say something like, Kendrick couldn't keep up on this track or something to that effect? I can't remember
By the way, watch the first 30 seconds of the Narduar interview with Kendrick. He starts it with Thank you Tech N9ne. Kendrick was confused. He said you met Dr Dre because he came to a Tech show that you opened for. Kendrick was blown away by him knowing that. Tech has his hands in a lot, a true goat. I suggest watching it. Or any of the interviews really of you have never seen it
The 2 dudes singing are Wrekonize and Bernz. They're in a group called ¡Mayday! Which is under Strange Music. They're dope af too! Here's a couple suggestions from Tech. Tech N9ne - So Dope feat. Wrekonize, Snow Day Product, Twisted Insane Tech N9ne - Strangeulation Vol. II Cypher I Tech N9ne - He's a Mental Giant
He probably doesn't know that song either but Serj is the Motherfucking man!! And that song absolutely slaps. (Straight out the Gate) Tech is a goat for merging metal and rap the way he does
techs in the pocket. he flows as one with the beat, and his voice adds to the percussion. his presentation is like no other. and his enunciation is on point when hes live too.
Tech considers this one of his greatest songs of all time and has voiced how frustrated it made him when it got looked over. He basically helped discover Kendrick back in 2011 with his song I Love Music ft. Kendrick. This song didn't see any radio play at all, which is a damn shame. It's a masterpiece. Definitely the strongest chorus of any Tech song and two incredibly diverse and emotional verses. Please check out Tech's I love Music, ft. Kendrick. Early Kendrick really shows you how slept on my man was, he was slaying back in 2011 when no one knew his name.
During Tech week you have do a couple of his older songs. From Calm Before the Storm, Anghellic, and Absolute Power. I think a lot of people consider that some of Tech's best music.
That’s the people that have followed him from beginning. Everyone is nostalgic but there’s no denying he’s improved every step of the way and no masters all abilities of rapping
the guy singing the hook is called Wrekonize. he is dope too. he did a freestyle every wednesday for a whole year. should check out some of his music as well. hes part of the band Mayday. Anxiety Attacks is a good starting track
❤🎤💥NINA is like a drum beat on a the actual beat, plus he actually says something. He is all about helping young dope MCs, he took Kendrick on tour with him in the beginning. He helped alot of people get on. Tech is the biggest independent artist in the world, money is not inportant, but just so you have an idea of how big Tech and his label are, hes been on the Forbes list a few times.... He has had some dope artists on his label over the last decade. Fist time I saw him was around 94 and we've seen him about 10 times since. I've known some of his openers, he is dope live. Much love Homie.
Your the man Stevie Knight, your channel has come so far since I first sub'd back when you were @ 30K subs. It's real cool to be a part of this community and see the growth in this channel. Awesome man keep up the hard work you put in to this, you have a loyal sub in me my guy! Crazy that you picked up over 70k subs in like past 3-4 months, your going to be big man!
The things with Tech vs Em is that Tech’s mouth (pause) is a full orchestra on its own. He’s been experimenting and perfecting different rapid fire flow patterns his entire career. Tech is Numero Uno in the flow, cadence, and delivery categories.
I would love to see you do some lyric vids sometimes so u can see his ability’s as well. Eventually his flow will get easier to catch the more u hear him. Technicians stand up!!!
Tech does some crazy shit where he lines up his vocal patterns with the drums on the beat, and makes his voice act as a drum. It’s pretty crazy no one does it as good as him
SK... one of my favorite tracks by far.. you need to blast it in the whip.. im not one for catch phrases, but.. it is definitely "a vibe"... also got an analogy for you: Tech is like a turn table, he makes his voice, tone, and words sound like music, like an actual beat.. Royce is right there with him in that regard. Now... if Royce and Tech are turntables.. then what's Em? How bout, the electricity that flows through them? Cause he makes any beat, lyric, etc.. do whatever the f he wants it to do.
The thing about Tech’s fans is that they have every reputation for doing the work. They get the album as soon as it’s available they are listening to all the songs they’re looking for lyrics and they’re gonna listen to the songs over and over and over again and until they find every thing that there is to know about that song. Because the fans do this this, allows Tech to focus on his flow first but still have the ability to put down great bars that may not be so easily dissectible on the first listen, because he knows that the fans will take the time to research all the lines and they will go over it, and over it, over it again until they understand it.
Tech & Eminem are my top two 🐐But I feel like Tech is definitely the king of switching his flow💯Em would be the stronger lyricist but not by a great margin in my opinion
@@JayK07 if anyone is its Hopsin but I can't even say that wholeheartedly because you can't say someone is the whatever Em. There is no one like him and same goes for Tech.
No need to apologize in going back and reevaluating. That just shows you are trying to make sure you catch everything. That was probably my favorite part about this one
Kendrick was absolutely Kendrick Lamar in 2014, he released To Pimp a Butterfly that year. At that point he had 3 classics under his belt. Section 80, Good Kid Maad City, and To Pimp a Butterfly
Tech Nine, Eminem, King Iso, Rittz, Twista, Do or Die, Bone Thugs and Harmony, Biggie, 2Pac, Hopsin, Kendrick Lamar, Big sean, some of the illest emcees I have ever heard throughout the last 20 years I have been listening to rap. There's others I have on the list to. This is all I could think of at the moment. But this is a good list of emcees who are perfectionist at their craft. All having longevity and big arsenals of music under their belts. Accept the ones on the list who died obviously. Their time was cut short. Like Biggie and 2Pac. All these emcees had their own certain strengths and unique approach to rap. Biggie was a lyrical technical rapper. Where 2pac was more of a story teller and poet. Had very strong messages. 2Pac was a realist while Biggie was more of a lyricist. Both shared similar qualities to. Because they were both were good at telling stories in their music. All these MC's I stated are beasts
I'm honestly glad you had a 2nd listen on the verses and really soaked up what they were saying. Although they are talking about critics from hip-hop mags/blogs specifically the comparison could be made to popular reaction channels shitting on artists. Anyways glad to see the Tech N9ne love ✌🏼
Glad you did this one! First song on my huge rap playlist for a reason. And don't worry about listenin' to it twice, doesn't matter if the video is longer with these type of songs.
Man i don’t know how I have been sleeping on this reactor. This was a great real genuine reaction. Ain’t no way I’m leaving this page with out a sub and bell.
Difference is that the music video has the whole violin player bully theme. Great music video if you ask me. @StevieKnight should've done the music video reaction.
I found a solution to the ranking problem. Polytheism, music has a lot of gods worthy of respect or worship. Thanks for going back and going over the verses, everyone killed it hard on this track. Thanks for sharing.
Kendrick got his shit off stevie just got that grin on his face song so fire glad u got to hear it bro love the channel quickly becoming my favorite reaction channel love the energy bro keep up the amazing work
Yo she came on stage in TN and her voice was gorgeous just like this live. And tech, well tech writes raps he can perform live.. that’s how he writes, he’s said it time and time again. The performances and shows are what he loves. And when I say it’s a show and a party!!! Shhhhheeeeeessssshhh!! #StrangeGang
Check out Mayday - Due in June Mayday is a band under Techs label that consists of the 2 guys (Wreckonize and Burnz) that were singing in the beginning. Then follow it up with Mayday - June
When I think about dudes who can put on an absolute clinic on cadence, flow and Verse structure the first that come to mind are Tech, Crooked, Token, Em, Chris Rivers and KAAN 🔥
It all started in 2010ish when Tech had Jay Rock signed to Strange. Kendrick joined them on tour that year as Jay Rock's hypeman and that's how they linked up
