I think you forgot to upload the other video that you promised at the end of this one. Also, I don't mind the T-shirt ad. If it helps you make a few bucks for the videos you produce, then people shouldn't be bitching about it...assuming they enjoy your content. You're spending your own personal time to make these videos and you deserve to be compensated for that time.

Have you tried, when they go into CMD and doing the fake virus scan, slamming on the backspace key while they're typing and then entering your own message saying that there were no viruses found? I'm curious as to what might happen from that point, maybe having to either out themselves or something.

No need to install both. uBlock origin all the way, though. ABP sells your data and does sketchy shit. HTTPS Everywhere is another smart one to install. PrivacyBadger and Ghostery are also pluses.

Thanks for taking that with grace. I'll admit I did come off a bit blunt. Usually when you see people drop ads for stuff - be it sponsors or merch - it's either put after the introductory preamble or at the end. in this video you've got it interrupting some of the main content, which is a real shame because from what I can tell, you've put a lot of time in to editing the long gaps where the scammer's trying to figure out how to use his words so that your video flows as well as it can do considering the subject matter. Sorry for coming off blunt as I did. Love your videos otherwise dude. Keep up the good work. Thinking of doing this sort of thing myself, but I wouldn't even know where to begin setting up a VM and the fake phone numbers things you guys got going.

No worries, I love constructive criticism! It's what makes the channel better. I have a couple videos explaining how caller ID spoofing works and how to get a free Windows 7 VM (the legal way) but I haven't really put together a comprehensive guide yet. Something I need to work on :)

After all, they want your computer to be in part of the ransom right? I bet they saw ur hardware stats and realized that you arent as computer nooby, so they chicken out :D

I can't decide whether the terrible Engrish on this fake "advanced identity protector" is hilarious, cringe-worthy or just plain disgusting. Also, I want to start scam-baiting (I'm technical enough to cook up some fake programs on a VM) and when they ask what I do with it I want to respond "I just watch porn on it. All day. I've been in prison for the past 17 years and free porn is the best advance since I've been locked up." Also replace all fonts on the VM with wingdings and see what happens.
