Tech Tips - How to beam a TonePrint to your pedal 

I’ve been trying to beam from my phone for literal days and nothing happens the led doesn’t blink or anything

I have had Toneprint for so long I forgot which one it was! Is there a way for me to see what it is? I want to try other but I'm afraid of losing this one! 😬

Beaming doesn’t work with any of my six electric guitars.

I love TC pedals & the toneprint. What I’m going to say ISN’T a complaint. It’s just for information. 8 of my guitars beam the toneprints in fine. One doesn’t, it has Fender noiseless N3 pickups on it. I’ve got a hall of fame 2 & I flashback 2 & I’m delighted with both & would recommend them to anyone.

So for some reason im having problems beaming with my TCL 10L phone. I tested with a friends phone and it beams just fine. Are there any reasons this android phone wouldnt work properly?

If I load a toneprint (Duff Chorus for example), if I turn off the pedal and use it the next day, the toneprint will be loaded or I have to beam it again?

trying to beam from a Flashback (1?) and having no luck. I hear the signal coming from my phone's speaker, held close to the selected pickup, but the light on the pedal just stays red, never flashes green and I get nothing. Tried saving the tone print from the TonePrint app on my MacBook to the pedal, van the USB cable. It acts like it's saved to the pedal, but when I disconnect it from the MacBook and plug in, I get nothing. Tried downloading the firmware update, but the file is from 2011 (ErikDelay_SWUpdater) and can't run on my current Mac OS. Would be great to get some manual knob positions to ballpark the artist tone prints

Finally glitched out. After 10 mins. it said choose spot to sync...I chose slot -1 ..... then tone-print quit responding...Half the day shot on trying to program ALL my TCs

I had a Spectracomp 'beamed in' to the toneprint on my BH250 bass head, all working fine, until one day at a gig it had turned into an octaver out of the blue. How?

My TonePrint pedal is the last in chain of 12 pedals, so is there any risk in beaming thru them all? They will be bypassed of course.

Could you please make available some advice as to how to position different phones over different types of pickups? Humbuckers and noiseless pickup designs are made to reject RF for example, and different phones have different types of speakers and placement of their transducers. Thanks!!

I love this feature, works great for me, but my favorite part is the old-timey acoustic-coupled modem sound, and that’s barely audible in the video!

The new TonePrint app is not working for Mac. It quits the minute it’s opened. Just a heads up @tcelectronic

Good day. I do everything as a video, but nothing on the pedal flashes. Phone with OS Android 6.0 Downloaded last version from Play Market. Please help

My problem is that with my Huawei p20 pro mobile with the Tone Print, last version app, i cannot connect to the pedal, i try to connect to a bluettoth enabled pedal but with no luck, so with no connection, the app does not detect the pedal and i cannot beam the effect..any solutions?

Tried with my Strat an Tele an LesPaul, all are not beaming 🙁 did everything as the tutorial said.. Pretty frustrating. Can anyone help? I transfer via the app on my Huawei phone so Android. The pedal is flashing green a couple of times, then goes back to red, and stays red. Please help me......

Can i use the TC Electronic Switch - 3 Pedal for tone prints? I'm really struggling with this function. I have recently purchased TC Electronic BG250 115 bass amp and can't get my head around it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I also have a Zoom pedal but it doesn't seem to work with that either

my PC can not connect to my HOF (v1). I use the latest TonePrint version. Should you have an idea of what I should do? In the device manager, I see a yellow warning on that USB port ("The device can not start. error code: 10") Of course, the pedal has power and it is ready to use

Hi all, great channel. If I try out some of the tone prints - how can I then “reset” back to the original tone if I find I preferred that. (This has stopped me trying toneprints for years now!)

cpl questions, once the toneprint is received and loaded into the pedal, does it stay in place thru on and bypass? if tweaked, does it keep those adjustments after removing power? does the toneprint remain in the toneprint mode?

2021, Pbass w/Seymour Duncan, Motorla (phone), Flashback mini ... The phone made the 90´s modem sound, but the pedal doesnt flash.

When loading a toneprint to the Dreamscape, the blue light have to flash? In my pedal the blue light stays always the same, no flash, in the other pedals it flashes...

Both the mini hof and Corona worked fine for the first couple of weeks, but now the beaming just isn't working. I'm using a galaxy edge phone. Any clue?

I have a flashback 2 and out of the blue the toneprint beaming stopped working... The led is blinking green but the the toneprint is not transmitted. It worked fine until it didn't... Any suggestions? I tried different amps and going directly into the pedal, nothing seems to make a difference...

@TCelectronics PLEASE guys make the toneprint apps better already. Make it so that we can share our toneprints with eachother at least. Also, if anybody reads this with more knowledge about how making toneprints works and mathrock guitar tones. I've been trying and failing to make a reverb tone for the HOF2 mini reverb that gets close to the reverbs used by people like the RU-vidrs and Artists Ichika or LetsTalkAboutMathRock. I know they use Walrus or Mercury 7 reverbs with plate setting of some kind but i just don't know how to get it to sound right. Anyway, I still like this pedal and use it all the time but I just wish the community was able to share their creations on the app itself or that there was a community around Toneprint at all. I feel like if TC put more effort into making the app, tools, and website better as well as easier to understand then more people would buy these pedals.

It works with 3 of my tc pedals but not with the Last one ive purchased. The dreamscape. Ive tried to réinstall the firmware tried many guitars. No way.

i'm thinking about getting a hall of fame mini, and was wondering how would i be able to change settings in a live presentation. I would use it in a amplified acoustic cello, so beaming it into the pickup like that isn't an option... Can anyone help me with that?

I play an older Ibanez and it wasn’t working when I held the phone directly to the pickup. I moved the phone back just a little bit and it worked! So happy.

I had no problems loading the toneprint (I must have been using the old version because it was a couple of years ago now), But... having the toneprint app caused my phone to go into some weird thing where the speakers were always set to 'on' and it would drain my phone battery where it was essentially unusable as a phone. Has this been fixed?

What version of Toneprint app do you have? Mine is different and so slow. It's not so efficient.
