Hence Tom's comment about it being out of 'Maid Marian and her Merry Men!' The difference between them and comic greats like Monty Python, Blackadder, etc. is probably more in the fact that TechDif stop here at the ideation phase. A full on programme from them based on these (in a similar vein to their TechDifShow, minus the Top Gear format) would be most splendid.

Should they get really good at ice skating for this or have the whole event be a disaster because they keep falling over, akin to the Goes Wrong Show?

@@CamstonIsland i think clumsy is more fun. But the biggest part of the episode is the curling in a swimming pool, like depth charges

@@CamstonIsland Matt, Gary, and Tom are like newborn foals first learning to walk. Chris is on the sidelines the whole time until suddenly, near the end, there is a shot of some shape blotting out the sun casting a shadow on the other three. The camera swings around to focus on this spinning sphere rising in midair until it unfurls to reveal it's Chris, who dives at the camera and turns the screen black as a transition to the next shot. It's Chris landing on the ice in skates striking a heroic yet graceful pose, and he takes off into the distance, spinning and jumping and doing all sorts of ice-related shenanigans. The final shot is the other three holding up judges' score signs: a 9.8 from the Nottinghamshire judge, a 9.5 from the West Yorkshire judge, and a 9.9 from the bounciest judge. Entertain yourselves; this is a good half-hour for me.

Thank you very much! It was one of the bits that inspired me to get into animating these, but for some reason I never got around to it until I remembered out of the blue 'They are Rigged! They are Rigged! He has had some Disease as a child!'
