Following @Techmoan latest video on repairing he's Sony SACD player, where he spends nearly £300 on two laser replacements that in the end did not get the unit up and running. Then ended up buying another second hand unit at just under £300. I wanted to let people know that a lot of high end old DVD players in fact play Super Audio CD's for a fraction of the price of a £300 Player and they sound great to.

A cheap to find budget old DENON DVD-1930 that you could use as your main CD Player
These units often pop up on eBay or even charity shops for next to nothing and make a decent CD player, while not maybe sounding quite as good as say an old Marantz standalone CD player this model still gives a good account of itself and can be found at a fraction of the price.
Has a nice natural maybe slightly on the side of warm sound, its an engaging player with a nice open soundstage, good detail and instrument placement.
These can be found for about £10 to £30 depending on condition, remote etc
But is a little slow and looks very much like a DVD player.
