Technical Foul Due To Premature Court Storming - Lincoln County Defeats Boyle County
Lincoln County survived a late technical foul due to students storming the court before the game was officially over in the 2022 45th District boys basketball tournament at Danville High School.
It appeared the Patriots won the game 57-51, but a referee had called a foul prior to the horn. He ruled that there should be 0.8 seconds on the clock and called an administrative technical foul.
After free throws on both ends, the Patriots officially won the game and were able to celebrate.
