Actually not quite. There are belts still employed in the transport. Refer to hifiengine.com and download the brochure. It quite good actually and see the transport diagram.
@@sluttrainer4061 Actually potentially belts and a motor or 2 or 3 since this is a 3 motor machine. Of course with any tape machine any mode failures can occur on motors and belts.
Great deck, it was like that. But before recording sound, you need to calibrate, you did not do this, and this is bad. In addition, on the normal tape, you should not give a recording level greater than 0 Db.
