Technics SA-EX310: New Bench Test Amp 

I have a sa-gx690 I’ve had it since 95 and it’s still going strong. I loved the 90’s technics receivers I have a few different ones

Dolby pro-logic lol. Love it. Your unit is in such great shape for its age. Those rcas out back were so clean.

Good choice for a bench amp. When it dies you can salvage some good parts out of it. Cleaning is a must as they are usually pretty gross by this time

Radical having a Silverface era sherwood slaving away next to the sump pump. Those Mash era Technics are all still performing fine. Built cheaply but well. I find they sound really decent as well. It matches your Technics MC CD player.

The inside reminds me of my old Yamaha amp from around 85. It claimed 2x120w into 4 Ohm...but the power transformer was no more than 50VA, probably less. Worked fine at normal power.

I have that same IKEA rechargeable screw driver; love it. Used it a lot until the forward function stopped working :( If yours fails in the same way, maybe you can do an episode on how to fix it.

I have the EX 110 but I don't know the difference between the two but the controls look identical

I think I'll just stick with my pioneer SX880. Hahaha I know you know that that's the obvious just messing around with you
