hod did you wire the rca cables to the tone arm im havin hum in a sl 1950 just replaced the rca wires and moved te black tone arm wires instead of soldering them toghether with the green one i hav ehum even with the ground cable this its noticible when amp volume its a half
What type of RCA cable did you end up using? Do you recommend any in particular. I'm looking to replace the ones in my Technics Sl-1300 MK2. I have done some searching, but everybody seems to buy the cheapest they can find. I saw some post that recommend using one with low impedance.
That tonearm has NO dampening. Either it's assembled wrong or the previous owner used sewing machine oil or something instead of 500.000cst silicone oil
@@millervintagehifi3034 There's a great video by the Turntable Guy where he's fixing that cueing damping issue which seems to be common for sl-1300, 1400 and 1500 models.
