i still use this cartridge and stylus which are very hard to find ,the ones sold on ebay have nothing to do with the original stylus this to do not refer that most of the ones i bought were badly built and in the 80´s substitution needles were very good compared to the new ones ,it as a quality that if one buys today a new cartridge it will cost a lot of money to match the original quality, i remenber having this cartridge on other turntables but at the time i would buy a better one, now i repent having sold very cheap the ones i had my luck is that my father because in the city where i live they weren´t available ,he when travelling to Lisbon , Portugal would buy several for each cartridge we had at home ,so till 2018 i had still original ones from technics and it said there that were built by Nagaoka wich when the release of the SL-1000R if memory doesn´t fail me they (technics) asked Nagaoka to make a new cartridge and stylus for this turntable that costs above 5.000€ ,don´t know if it´s the model i wrotte above for sure but i think you know to which i´m refering to, technics since early 70´s released a lot of good turntables ,all of them work today and because my father passed away last year i kept all his components and records etc. ,everything related with music listening so i have today a big colection of old hi.-fi components also records, reels ,cassettes and DAT cassettes that he bought in late 80´s from Sony esprit series
