i would love a Master Sounds mixer .One with a cross fader like this one for mixing my vinyl.I would be great for longer transitions and less frantic cutting .They are lovely mixers
Great choice! Those valves are buttery! That's my NEXT mixer! #MASTERSOUNDS makes amazing stuff... plus really nice people! I have that FX unit ... you need to pair that with your sexy Two Valve!
been playing with the v2 of this mixer for the last few months now ... wish i had your touch with the EQ! it's a very musical and great-sounding mixer, but the EQ just doesn't work for me. i'm too used to the xone 92's 4-band eq and parameter curves, i think. cutting anything from the 3-band EQ on the MS can really suck the energy out of a blend ... that -20 dB is really harshly parameterised!
Do you miss the xfader and eq when using the radius? Can you do a full turn quickly and easily if you do want to mix rapidly rather than smoothy or are you really more limited to slow, smooth mixes. What do you the of their differences in sound between the valve and radius - much different?
after looking at all your videos, it seems like you rarely use the high/mid eq in a way that cannot be done with the radius. Is it worth getting the 2V over the radius just to get the extra eq and possibly a slightly better sound for mixing multi genre house ?
As you can see that was my style of mixing in that video. It really depends how you mix in order to define which mixer you will get. With both you will have fun, I’m sure 😉
Two completely different beasts, the Radius 2V sounds really good but it is in my opinion a fader mixer with rotaries instead. But the Xone 92 is a classic and have more functions. It really depends how you mix. If you can afford the 2, go for the 2V and keep the Xone. What makes you think on going to the 2V?
@@opamusic9457 Thank you for your quick response. I'm thinking about it because of the sound and the rotary feel when mixing. Mix with vinyl. I love the analog mixer sound and wonder if it's even better than the 92. Unfortunately, that would have to go then ;-) The new mixer from Ecler ..Warm 2 is also interesting. Unfortunately, there are no tests for that yet.
oh shit i just saw that the set with the effect unit costs €500 in taxes to germany. Since England is no longer in the EU.... Sorry, but there it will only be an MS FX for the 92er
