Thank you for this video bmr.. I've got myself a xrx recently and garage rc has been setting it up for me and my amg gt3 body but ill definitely keep this video in my favourite for if I ever want to change over to 94mm .. I appreciate it buddy and I understand your not as comfortable recording during your build but like I say this will definitely help me in the future as I've got a custom BRZ 94mm shell too 😊 keep up the content buddy and stay safe
Thank you Linus! Yeah these chassis are pretty amazing, especially if you get the upgraded/preassembled parts. I think I could have assembled this in about 30 min off camera, for sure the easiest chassis to build.
Thank you bro! I love it, beautiful chassis for a reasonable price. I love the blue & white tho, it reminds me of the old Japanese paintings of waves 🌊
@@EXTRA_SLIDEZ sorry bro I was at work. hey BMR 3... playing with my chassis and reviewing your video... it seems like you may have use too short of screws for the gear box. u may have not stripped those holes in the gear box.. threads seem to end in the toe plate.. IDK.. please let me know if that helps.. goodluck!
Looking for a rwd drift car what would you recommend? Also what do you have to buy to complete this car ? Also have a ex6 r so I would have to use a compatible receiver thanks !! Love the content hard to find !!
Hey man, thank you for the kind words & support! So you have a ex6, I’m assuming you have a decent bit of experience building & tuning at this scale. I would recommend looking into the Drift Art V2, it’s a belt driven chassis & has an insane amount of steering angle. It seems to have the best steering geometry on the market & is just a well thought out chassis. Plus it works very well with 1:28 Autoscale bodies, as wells as full size 1:24 model kits. Aside from the drift art my next recommendation would be the DRZ V2, & they just released a limited edition kit with a different front bulk head. I have one coming in early next week & I’ll be releasing videos covering the build.
Unrelated to this video but I’ve been looking for new wheels and tires for my ma-20 white rx7, where did you get your golden wheels that I see on almost all of your cars? I need a set asap
It depends on budget. If you can afford a fully upgraded Drift Art 2.5 with the v belt & DVF steering then I would say that, but if budget is a concern I recommend the DRZv2 all day.
Currently I prefer the DRZ since I haven’t had a chance to tune my XRX. Once I have both set up correctly, I’m sure they will be extremely close. I think it come down to color preference, do you prefer blue or gold?
I know the struggle & feel your pain, that said I just linked you to the read knuckles in your other comment 😉 Yeah I’m going to say ordering a full option XRX is going to be the way to go for RWD chassis. I haven’t had a chance to fully test it out, but so far it’s blowing my mind lol
@@BMR3 I came across another Chinese web site and want your input. Xpower, it looks like mpower but has a lot of hop up parts and in stock supposedly. Also wanted to verify that I have the correct shocks for DWS for ma020. The brand is option house kyosho mbw036. I for the mini z buggy. They look to big but i keep forgetting to order the shock tower 🤣 losing track of all these orders. If you have an affiliate link for red shock tower let me get it! Thank you!
I'm looking to build one of these or the DRZ V2. I was wondering what you run for chargers and batteries + what would be the better beginner car of the 2? Since I have zero existing mini rc cars.
I have dedicated videos on both my charger & batteries I’m currently, I can link if you need it. It depends on your budget, if you can afford a mostly upgraded XRX then by all means go for it. But if not, the DRZ2 might be a better option. One thing to note about the XRX is the front end is wide & can effect the whee offset or make some narrow bodies incompatible. Good question tho, I wrote this down in my notes to make a dedicated video in the future
E-flight 280MAH battery, its compact enough to fit on the top deck with a body on it. I also like the 300MAH Turnigy batters since they are very compact as well. www.wolframrc.com/product/300mah-2s-lipo-battery-w-jst-ph-balance-connector-turnigy/29?cp=true&sa=false&sbp=false&q=true
