If Fuji brings out a video camera with its current codec and color science but with sony or canon level AF then in my opinion it will be the perfect camera.
Someone needs 5 minutes in a room with the Fuji CEO to help show him OBVIOUSLY why he needs to delete fuji’s 1 star rated app, get in touch with the freaking times and update the app to 5 star rating standards! People like me leave the smartphone lens for something a little more like Fuji and one of our first questions in modern day is, “how’s the app?”. I literally left my bank for another bank because their app was better. I’ll pick DJI over Zhiyun because THEIR APP IS BETTER!! Like this comment if you want a better freakin Fuji app like yesterday!! Discussions of boycotting further purchases is next. Which by the way is rational, because when a company is about to go belly up their cuts are in research and development. It’s like no developed App, Fuji? Makes me wonder - are you about to go Olympus on us? You dying bro? 🤔 More reason to get that app updated!!
i totally think it should be possible to connect the phone ( /app) directly to the camera/gimbal by wire to reduce/remove any lag that might happen with wireless bluetooth or wifi?
Thanks! 10 years ago shooting with my ff Canon 5D Mark II was fun and the outcome was great. 10 years later do I feel like my pictures aren't as good shooting with my cs X-Pro3 or X100V? They're actually better (for various reasons all right)! People on YT always want the most out of anything but do they really buy, let alone use these gears? Less is more and what matters to me is do I have my camera with me, do i use it and is it fun? If so then the outcome is usually great
Buying into brands, cameras and lenses is not a long term proposition anymore With rapid changes in technology and brands market share there isn’t any guarantee anything you by today will retain its value
In my humble opinion and not very experienced one, I would like to see a similar model for 2021 as an 'XH-2', as I am committed to sports photography. Love the brand, incredibly delighted with the philosophy behind its upgrades...however, and really, really have been struggling for a higher keeper rate on sports. Focus based on contrast... can't compete with a full frame. You know what brand I am thinking?! I will need soon a second camera and that will dictate my future option. No question about it, as FUJI treats well their customers and I would love to see a work horse camera to get aside of that 'all white corner'! Please FUJI don't let me go! Cheers
Good Soul the nifty fifty lens you seek is the 35mm f2, and it’s pretty damn cheap considering. I would say the bigger problem with Fuji is their effing App! Jeeezus like what don’t they get, fix the app it’s the most 21st century thing to do!
@@vishal_trivedi 35mm costs 16k Right? Fuji should have smthg under 10k, their entry level tele zoom is around 25k where other companies have them under 15k. Also there aren't many third-party lenses apart from some manual ones.
the person is talking about the XC 35mm f2 (plastic lens) that was released around last year. Reviews shows that the quality and speed is equal to the XF 35mm f2 lens and only difference is that its not metal and not weather sealed.
Seen how good smartphone cameras are now? Main camera sensors are close to 1" big now on most flagship phones. And they'll get a similar sensor in the ultrawide soon enough, completely taking away the enthusiast/casual content creator crowd. You also brought up a great point in full frame. With the entry level cameras being so inexpensive now, it's full frame or bust. Also video is the growth market in content creation not stills anymore, focus on that going forward!
Truth is sensor size matters. Period. These convos being held by Fuji users about experience over sensor size are analogous to a guy feeling insecure about the size of his woodpecker then attempting to comfort/rationalize themselves about their small “sensor” size... “oh but baby the experience!!” Lol gtfo!! If they want to invest in the service and experience then fuji better make their phone app the very best in the market then. In the comments of that article it seems most people just want fuji to continue to update the lens line up and they will most likely stick to fuji. (Weather resistance - updated AF motors to be faster) It feels a bit sad if looking towards the future because fuji 99% will need to create a whole new mount if they later feel that they need to move to full frame in the future. Compared to Sony small adaptable APSC-FF glass mounts or Nikon large Z mount used for both APSC and FF as well. Meaning future adapters is some what going to be mutli sensor size purpose. Then again is there full frame X trans sensor anyways for fuji to use or its always a large large investment with minimum return. Question is to dive in to Full frame now before its too late like Olympus? Canon have many mounts between old DSLR and mounts between APSC and full frame but they are much larger and can afford it but i cant imagine that will be the same thing for fuji to juggle multiple mounts. Fuji is already juggling between photography lens vs video lens and that seems difficult enough. In the end that global shutter for video and advertising towards the next stages of video is one idea or for video they move to super 35mm sensor size like other budget cinema cameras that are coming out soon/now? (small criticism the youtube photo community that focus on sensors but speak out random sensor specs (X Mega pixels)(X size)(X type) when they dont research if that kind of sensor is even for sale in the first place) I do wonder about the photography / street photography genre fuji has that people (leica community) likes to talk down on fuji about not having the manual focus experience or TRUE range finder experience is something fuji should resolve or the middle ground experience and more hybrid features (video features that other street photography cameras dont have) is good enough to keep going forward. Added that even though we hear "fuji colors" being good, it seems to still be a step below "leica colors" or not as true natural colors compared to other cinema cameras so im not sure if its something they should work on?
@@channelofkamal i dont think so either and im not on the side of people saying "if only fuji has full frame then ill use it".. no fuji is very use able right now and stop blaming gear. but lets be honest, fuji is pushing good video specs since XT3 but that road will not last for long. they need to upgrade, update many other things like lens, mobile apps, - menu options features to widen their features than just RAW CAMERA SPECS etc
