(Way) Back in the days when TECMO BOWL was the video game football king, we used to have almost as much fun watching the games as playing them. My friends and I would pick teams to follow through computer controlled season after season. We would make predictions, cheer for our favorite players, and ride the emotional roller coaster of a remarkably sophisticated - for the time - football experience.
In the years that followed, TECMO BOWL fell behind other franchises and into gaming history, but I will always remember it as one of the best games to turn to when there was time to burn.
