10:20 best football song ever. should also note that you only get to hear it and the one before it if you make it into the playoffs... So it was a gem worth unlocking.
Tecmo should stick it to the NFL and make another football game. And since they can't use the NFL license use it to their advantage and go all out and crazy. Make it a crazy action style football game, put Team Ninja on it and even add some DOA characters in it. Hell, maybe even add it so you can have male and female players and have speciality tackle animations/dodges/taunts/etc.
General Flynn Taggart I agree techmo bowl was way less complicated and a lot more fun to play. Madden is okay but they put way too much into it. Techmo was just smash mouth football.simple.
I was so disappointed when the DS Tecmo did not have playoffs music. Ruined the whole game for me. Play a whole season and just to get greeted with the same music. That sucked.
The SNES did a great job of taking all the emotion out of a song, muddying it up, and leaving any sense of dynamics for the imagination. It was no doubt a huge step forward, but the NES and its 8-bit soundtracks were so much better. They managed to get more emotion and depth out of way less at their disposal.
