TECURS MR03 USB Condenser Mic | Sound quality 

So this video was actually using the default filters in OBS with no modifications at all. If you're using OBS, you can often just turn them on and they pretty much just work in many situations! Audio processing is such a subjective thing, it's so dependent on the timbre of your own voice, the mic you're using, volume, sound treatment, etc that I've tried to stay away from tutorials like that haha. Maybe I'll do a breakdown of my chain at some point though! :) good idea! Thanks for tuning in!

I've adjusted a few things to remove background noise and etc. I sound better than I did with default settings but I still don't like how I sound like 😭 honestly I feel like it's a simple monotone voice problem lol

Awesome! Love this thing. So to start, the most basic thing is to turn off all the fans or other noisy things you might have going on. I know that might sound obvious and also kind of sucks if you're got blooded like me and sweat a lot. But this mic picks up room tone naturally which can bleed through on some calling apps. Second would be turn the gain control knob on the mic way down and get closer to the mic - that will turn the room tone/noise down and your voice will be louder. Won't pick up as much bleedthrough from the back this way as well - typing, rustling, whatever else. It will still be there, but it won't be as loud. App-wise I definitely prefer discord VC over xbox's. In Discord go to settings; down to voice & video; set input mode to voice activity. Scroll down til you see Voice Processing. Turn on echo cancellation. Under noise suppression I use Krisp, it's great, but standard will work too. Then down to Automatic Gain Control and turn it on - this will help compensate for you having the mic's gain knob turned down. Typically for almost all mics these settings on discord will pretty much completely isolate your voice when you're on a call. IF NOT, then your best bet will be push to talk honestly, that's like my last resort because I'm too stupid to remember to push the button every time lol Edit: I am actually in the process of reviewing the MR-04 from the same company. It's basically the same mic internally, but it actually HAS a built-in noise suppression chip which you can toggle on and off. @@MichaelNobleMusic YESS that was exactly it im gonna be buying a new one soon hopefully and ill get like an extension for the jack so i dont plug it straight into the mic
