The car crash scene was a nod to the movie "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" with Steve Martin and John Candy. It's even the same song that Ted is listening to on the radio.

Don't know if it's been said but, the movie they are referencing about Harrison Ford being a Lawyer and Shot in the head is called Regarding Henry. It is one Harrison Ford's best drama roles in my opinion and worth a watch if you're interested.

Giovanni Ribisi(Donny) is such an underrated character in this and the first Ted. He's also hilarious in another Seth MacFarlane movie A Million Ways to Die in the West....which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND watching. It also has Liam Neeson and some other fantastic cameos. Aside from Ted 1, it's my favorite MacFarlane movie so far

The movie Ted was referencing is apparently called Regarding Henry. Also the reason Mika Kunis didn't come back is because she was pregnant with her and Ashton's baby. Though Im not sure why they couldn't fit that in the script 😅

You should watch the Naked Gun series and pretty much any Leslie Nielsen comedies, that's pretty much Family Guy humour and a way of doing real life visual gags before Family Guy, it's just as crass and over the top for the time it came out. Monty Python too but theirs were kinda straight forward, those ones I mentioned with Leslie Nielsen are just as chaotic as this movie in terms of visual gags.

I’m only 1:30 into the video. I just choked on my drink laughing at Mr movies (sorry still don’t know your names yet! Unless you’re keeping them private, which i respect) dancing like Giovani Ribisi. So unexpected and so funny. You guys should totally do more of that. I think Ted may have been my favourite reaction of yours so far. Mrs movies with that fart joke was hilarious. The Harrison Ford film Ted is referencing is called Regarding Henry, in which Ford plays a lawyer who as Ted explains gets shot and becomes a good guy lawyer rather than a bad guy.

44:04 yeah Michael Dorn played Worf in Star Trek. 45:53 that song is apparently big in Boston so he knew Ted would sing along with it. 53:28 Mila Kunis was pregnant when this was filmed. Earlier scripts had her dying in between films but was thought too depressing so they switched to them breaking up. 54:53 I looked that up and apparently he’s supposed to be Leslie Nielsens son and a sequel from Naked Gun 33 1/3.

the only reason they made ted 2 like this was mila kunis who played in ted 1 was pregnant so they had to find a way to have her character cut from the movie and i really liked the way they did it also there will be a ted prequel show coming out some time i wish they could have done an other movie. hopoe you do a million ways to die in the west its a great movie as well.
