Texas Senator Ted Cruz was caught caught going on vacation to Cancun with his wife Heidi and two daughters. All while Texas is experiencing a state of emergency with millions of Texans left without power. The Texas power grid is unique due to it being separate from the rest of the power grid. Ted Cruz released a statement.
“With school cancelled for the week, our girls asked to take a trip with friends. Wanting to be a good dad, I flew down with them last night and am flying back this afternoon,” Cruz said, adding that he and his Senate team “will continue using all our resources to keep Texans informed and safe.”
