SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE CELEB INTERVIEWS! Emmy-Winner Jake Hamilton talks with the cast of TED LASSO! Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Toheeb Jimoh, Cristo Fernandez
I really enjoyed watching your interview. And I really enjoyed listening to people appreciate each other and recognizing the positives in life. Nice job!
It's meant to be three, I'd rather honour their vision for the arc of the show, and then support that energy in their next project. I will miss it when it's done but it's very rewatchable.
The episode where Ted experienced a panic attack was so accurately depicted that I got chills. So thankful that they did their homework and showed us how stress can seriously kick our asses.
Yup. It sure was, man. I had to stop the fuckin' tape and think on it a minute. Those shits come on just like that and you have no fucking idea why. It was hard watching it. I'm glad they did it though so people could see what it's like and understand what's going on.Ted Lasso's a damn good show.
@@timgopackgogopackgo3799 I watched an interview with Cristo Fernandez and Toheeb Jimoh. They both seem like such amazing people - just like their characters. :)
Cristo’s story about becoming an actor and how he relates it to the show was so sweet 😭 as well as Junos reaction to Hannah saying she was a real life Ted 💕
it’s so exciting seeing toheeb and cristo doing a joint interview! i’m so glad they’re getting their own storylines in season 2; sam and dani are two of my top favourite characters. they both have such wonderful potential for character development and i’m thrilled that we’ll get to see it!
Jason is so good, I still expect him to have the Ted Lasso accent. Lol I was wondering if anyone else would have an unexpected accent but they’re all the same. I love it. Except Brett has a smile that just lights up the room, which is so far from Roy Kent. Great ensemble!
I love that they are real people, not the usual celebs. Spending time with any of them would be a great experience. I can’t say that about the vast majority of actors out there.
I love the show, and despite the bad language I had to let my 15 yr old son watch it because I knew he would really, really like it. It is now a family favorite.
I love Ted Lasso, is one of the best series for me, positive, fun and all, I repeat ALL characters are amazing! Great job guys, Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Jeremy Swift, Phil Dunster, Brendan Hunt, Nick Mohammed, Juno Temple, Sarah Niles, Toheeb Jimoh, Ellie Tylor, Andrea Anders, Cristo Fernández, Anthony Steward Head, Sarah Niles, James Lance, Annette Badland, Stephen Manas, Arlo White, Kevin Garry, Harriet Walter, David Elsendoom, Moe Jeudy-Lamour, Chris Powell, Bronson Webb, Kiera O´Brien, Jimmy Akingbola, Bill Fellows and all the professionals working behind the cameras.
I grew up in the same area and environs as Jason, Indeed I had the opportunity to meet Jason's dad at a charity golf tournament dedicated to Gilda Radner and cancer research. I can tell you that Jason, much like Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd and many others who have KC as their roots; this is who we are. We are often maligned and consider fly over hicks but Jason's character is so much like middle America. Don't underestimate us as simpletons and poke at our values; we are happy in life for a reason.
Late in the game…Just started watching the show (I’m on episode 3 season 1). It is definitely a refreshingly different kind of show! I’m so happy for Jason Sudekis’ success!!! 🤗
Ted Lasso makes me happy and I want to be a better person. I sometimes get panic attacks, seeing it on this show makes me feel human. Thank you for everything! Keep doing a great job! ❤🥰😍
Just discovered this interview, but this Jake guy is FANTASTIC at conducting interviews, sometimes the questions these people get are like wildly inappropriate, but the questions he asked cut so deep he ended up making juno tear up. Bravo good sir !!
You know how most interviews with celebrities are cringy, because the interviewers suck at their job? Well, this was the complete opposite of that. The fact that you’re a true fan of the show really shows in the questions you asked. Also, those actors make me cry every episode, and somehow, they made me cry in this interview. lol Again, your engaging questions you asked facilitated that.
My coworker told me about the show, I tried watching, been hooked ever since 😅. Thank you Jason and all the other creatives for such a beautiful, refreshing and hilarious piece of work.
Just started watching this and up to s02ep05....so damned awesome! This is by far one of my most favorite shows in my life. It brings out so many emotions, but most of all, I find myself smiling so much while watching it. AND THEY BETTER NOT SHUT IT DOWN AFTER SEASON 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😥😥😥😥😥😥😥
I love Roy, which probably tells you a lot about me, but also if you haven’t listened to Brett Goldstein’s podcast, you should. He’s really funny and he has cool friends.
Jake I like how you are with the cast. You’re not a phony and you put your heart out there. There’s a lot of talking heads -you’re definitely not one of them. I think I’m going to be interviewing Hannah Waddingham in the next 2 weeks or so but I only get 6-7 minutes because it’s a radio phoner tour.
Really good writing with serious drama and the perfect awkward joke sprinkled in at the right moments. I appreciate you all and your dedication to the show!
Love this show. I binged season 1 recently in a couple of days. It’s a diamond in the rough and exactly the kind of show we need. Glad you got to interview them. Been subbed since 2011.
Stunning tv as a British football fan I thought what do Americans know about football. But wow it's amazing the characters just compliment each other so well.
this was such a sweet interview and bc u cared ab the show ur questions were way better and more interesting and engaging tysm for putting in this much effort to the content u create
Amazing serie how you can change people if you have the right intention and lot's of humor and doing simple things. Ted is very good example that you don't need experience to do something what you haven't done before in your life. Just use the tools witch are present and be interested in people and give them trust. A very good example for leaders all over the world to take this serious in what you can do with less. Listen to yourself and others wherever they come from and everything is possible. The best show to watch now and a good example how you can change the world around you. keep up the good thing and can't wait to see the next episode
I really enjoyed how they didn't make Rojas as just a Mexican caricature. It felt authentic to me and all the Mexican Spanish words were pronounced correctly. I fucking love this show!
I was a huge walking dead fan. When I saw and heard the cast speaking like this I was amazed at how many of them were Brits doing Yankee accents for the show. I thought it would be hilarious to find out the same for this show. Lots of Americans pulling off British accents. Nonetheless, Ted Lasso is a remarkable show.
