Ted Lasso's Phil Dunster, who plays Jamie Tartt, shows us around London's Richmond neighbourhood. He shows us both shooting locations and his favourite local spots to frequent between takes.
I love how Jaime has a Manchester northern accent in the show, but Phil is so obviously from the South of England. It's a neat little detail that he's added as an actor and it really adds to Jaime's charecter
@@hovi8050 Bro does not have a Scouse accent. Scousers have such a uniquely terrifying and ear piercing accent, and trust me, you'll know it when you hear it.

The most fun part of this show for me is being able to recognise all of the filming locations around Richmond (and Twickenham). Never managed to bump into Phil Dunster though.
I went to Richmond when I was in London late April. It’s really cool. And I had dinner at the Princes Head - Fish and Chips and a pint like Ted has 😊 worth the trip on the tube!
I love that I can understand you! The outtakes with your Ted Lasso accent must be hilarious! Your character is one of the reasons why I have to watch with subtitles. 😂
Richmond is one of the best boroughs in all of London. The people are lovely and welcoming. The Roebuck on Richmond Hill is one of the best pubs there is.
Fun Fact: Kiss The Hippo is part of a stealth corporation with many locations around the posh sections of London. The parent corporation is registered under the name, "But I saw You Coming LTD."

We have friends who live across the river from Richmond. We recognized most of the filming locations. When we go this summer, we will be there with all the other fans!
As a lifetime resident of richmond, i tried that coffee shop only with a family friend since its not my kind of thing but it is a great shop, however the Princes Head are not for locals. They were rude and obnoxious for no reason to me and my mates so we head to the one next door if we are on the green called "the cricketers". They are far nicer and dont treat customers poorly because they know they get many tourists flocking there. Knobs. Edit: Before any ted lasso stans come at me their reviews are full of experiences just like mine, they know what they're doing, rinsing as much money from tourists simple as. Ruined what i can imagine used to be a perfectly good boozer.
I used to go to the Princes Head way back when I lived on Kings Road above what was then the BSM Offices. But I prefered The Orange Tree downstairs.... Used to frequent L'auberge Cafe, which is now "Nandos"..... Good days were had! Also went to High School there! Gainsborough. Thanks.
@@dozz87 actually almost zero celebs live in Hollywood. Hollywood is a dump full of tourists and shit apartment buildings. Not a desirable place to live.
I was in London 2 weeks ago. We only had an hour to visit Richmond before taking our train to Manchester. The pub (The Prince’s Head) wasn’t open when we were there, but we did get pictures of the outside. There is a store next door to it that sold some merchandise, and my husband bought a hat.
@@rachaellewis4311 That's awesome! Realistically I probably won't get to visit London for another few years but I hope the Ted Lasso hype is still strong in that area.

This show is such an Americanised approximation of what London is like I’m amazed it actually shoots here, I assumed it was just a sound stage in LA given house bizarre it feels
