This has been the best 3 minutes of non-stop comedy I've seen in recent times. Getting Danny "sweeter than a baby golden retriever" Rojas to say "F**k off Trent Crimm!" at the end was just genius.
The building of the joke makes you expect that this is exactly where the joke was going, and yet you can't help but laugh so hard when you hear it. Great delivery by Zoreaux!
I like that at the end of the scene Phil Dunster (Jamie) is trying not to laugh and that later in the episode Jamie says that it's funny when Roy yells at other people
love the little added thing of Jamie briefly describing what a CD is to Will at 1:59. God this show is amazing! Three seasons in and it's lost nothing.
Can we take a moment to appreciate how quickly the entire team reaches out for Ted the second he nearly passes out?? JAIME REACHING OUT!! Peak found family ♥️♥️🥺🥺
The most underrated part of this scene that will never not be funny is Ted tossing his keys towards Beard, and Beard walk/ away saying, “I got a set.” and lets them fall to the floor 😂. Does Ted remember they’re on the floor later on, or does he have to go back to the locker room because he locked himself out of his apartment?
He either a. has to go back to the locker room to get his keys, b. has to call Beard to let him into his apartment, or c. Beard picks them up and slips them to Ted when the day's done.
It's the collective "Aww" that gets me the most. Probably because it builds on a preceding scene between Roy and Jamie. Overall best scene in TV this year for me.
@@JRGomez81 I mean sure, but as a current 25 year old who would've been 22-23 around this time in the series, there's no way Will wouldn't know what a CD is. We were born in the late 90's and CD's didn't go out of fashion until at least 2010 or even after that. I get the joke and I do think it's funny because of the set up and delivery, but applying logic to it doesn't work
There is literally something about this cast that is special for real IMO, this type of chemistry is just so brilliant to see because of all the moving parts that work in unison to make this such an amazing show/scene! I also love how the entire team including all of us love Roy and Keeley together and is completely devastated that they broke up and even more shocking that Roy broke up with her.
the more you rewatch this scene the more background comedic things you pick up on and it's just too good, I'm loving Jamie's character development too, god he was such a prick first season but now I love him
Everyone’s talking about Brendan Hunt (Beard) breaking character, but my eyes were on Phil Dunster (Jamie) at the end when Roy is shouting. He’s literally smirking so hard
Watch Jamie Tartt / Phil Dunster from 2:32 . Makes me think of an SNL sketch when an actor breaks but then I remember the two characters' relationship.
This scene is perfect even the comedic timing of the door slam and ted's dialogue, and the synchronized quick jump when the door slammed from everyone in camera besides Ted. It almost feels rehearsed but it's hard with how perfectly its composed but it's hard to fake that jump.
I think the funniest thing is San swearing, like that dude is so pure he hates swearing. But now he’s so upset that he couldn’t help himself and it sounded so weird coming from him 😂
