Ted begged the force of Universe to give him rain in order for Robin not to go camping with his coworker. By doing that, Universe displayed someone else’s relationship. Equilibrium must always remain balanced.

This is what makes me like Barney, even while I find his outward, carnal behaviour repulsive. (And the more I watch this show, the more I suspect his behaviour is greatly exaggerated. Promiscuous men usually exaggerate.) Deep down, he would go the whole world for a friend. And ironically, he respects women who hold their own.
What a way to create a shock effect. You are thrilled and full of joy with the two being together only to be completely shattered with sorrow over the engagement being broken.
This is one of the best moments on the show, Ted rushes home from Robyn’s having spent the night with her, bottom line he finally got the girl and it’s the best moment of his life. And he finds Marshall holding a returned engagement ring at, no exaggeration, the worst moment of his life, with no words because neither of them need to say anything. Granted all of this is pretty much a cop out considering by the end of season 2 all of it is set back to the way it was before, but that doesn’t make it any less of a powerful moment.

8 years after and here I am watching this scene hoping that in some time I can be with the love of my life after missing her so much and talking that we were always Ted and Robin
Despite all the things that followed after.. I always believed Ted was the one for Robin.and Robin was the one for Ted. I could feel Teds love for her. I was so happy with this scene. And the smile on Teds face after. Thats the Joy u feel when u get someone u have always loved and wanted.

I love when robin confronts ted about the locket then she said he tried to make it rain for her and he says he did and still doubts it. That cracked me up after all this.
I think being honest has now become a privelege of only that deserve it. I feel lot of fear being honest after being extremely honest all my life because I was being groomed for slavery.
Not every should be honest. Decisions have been taken who will be honest and who will sink into abyss of all bad behaviors. We are not to decide that. War is going on to give honesty awards to people who deserve it.
They were so perfect for each other. Every season after season 2 till the last final episode was like a torture to watch for me, hoping them to get back together.
I have not seen its ending yet..after so many years...how it will fit in my universe is am yet to see..why I didnt see its ending...I wud like to know why that happened.

sonu das That's because he never needed to. Tracy loved him as much as he loved her. He didn't have to convince her of anything with grand gestures because she felt it it like him. Like the show has often said when you meet the one you don't have to force it and everything falls into place. The fact that he had to try so hard again and again with Robin shows that he desperately tried to force something that isn't meant to be. It's kind of sad really because it shouldn't have had to be that hard if they were actually right for each other.
Rufio I think he fell in love with Tracy from their first meeting. He didn't want to stop talking to her or being with her and it felt like everything fell into place with him and he knew she was the one he wanted to be with and it's why he let go of that three day rule too and just called her.
And a pink one at 1:38 in full view. He could have used pink one instead of yellow for the mother. Yellow had a different meaning, some people know very well.
Guys! how to stop repeating it? this sense is going again and again! I watched the whole series, really happy because of the ending! but this kiss! god !! they just merged into one whole! he pulled her so! Arww! this is the scene where all that pain is not yet (poor Ted), where it all begins, where they have a whole happy year of relationship! Help!! ahh! I love them :)
He really made it rain for her. Back then it felt so special and a truth. How amazing it looked when rain actually poured after 3rd cmon...even Elias couldnt bring rain before 3 years in Israel for Lords people but TED did it for a girl he so loved.

Crazy detail I've never noticed before!!! 3:10 1 part of the umbrella going past is yellow. Can't be a coincidence considering the yellow umbrella thing in the show.
We dont know if it is privelege only few shud have. There is an industry working day and night to give what deserving should get. I fear these powers because they are as real as my nose.
