CCS soyi rehti hai since last 5 years now... current defence minister ko ek competent minister se change karna hoga, who is more of an employee or "technocrat" rather than a neta or half competent person... jaise External Affairs ke liye Jaishankar ji aaye tabse sab kaam badhiya chal raha hai... same type of minister of his level of education and skill, should be given the job of handling DEFENCE... a guy like Manohar Ji would be nice... I am seeing all people blaming either HAL or ADA or DRDO or whoever they find, as BABUS who dont wanna work... bro they are working... for less salary, in India, for the love of the nation... its the CCS which isnt giving approvals and the Armed Forces are unable to convery to the govt their demands... ab toh sab thik hi ho chuka hai waise toh, bas CCS ka approval aa jaye... and 2024 main Defence Minister ko change karna hi hoga, Rajnath ji is NOT AGGRESSIVE enough... Jaishankar ji ke level ka minister is a dire need of today... tab jaakar hi kuch hoga, warna 2029 takk bhi ek bhi prototype nahi niklega

@@sudarshanadiga6033 they do have tech, see Tejas, also all things made for Tejas and being developed for future programmes, are to be integrated to upgrade Su 30s to Super Sukhoi level Thus your words saying "they don't have tech, they know only how to screw drive things" is misinformation and a big lie Just let the CCS give approvals on time and the things shall fall into line with minimal delays Even Tejas's potential might not have been known, had it never been inducted... now IAF knows the potential DRDO/ADA/HAL etc have, and they shall aggressively back these PSUs and force/demand govt to allow CCS approval of funds on time These are not private companies with Billions of dollars as reserves, these are PSUs, they can at max develop a trainer or helicopter well with internal funds, but can no way develop a fighter with such low funds, this CCS approval is necessary Warna jet bann hi nahi payega... CCS should get more active in these next 5-10 years if they want India to do something big in the field of defence (as far as being top 5 in exports of weapons by 2040 and top 3 by 2050)

The initial idea was to build a cheap fighter in a reasonable time frame. There is nothing inherently wrong with single engine jets as engines are quite reliable now. My concern is our design thinking. Tejas was built as the worlds "smallest, lightest" fighter without considering that ultimately light weight and size are not enough to survive a dogfight or a long-range engagement. So, the emphasis on criteria that are not as important and any lack of vision and planning for future are what bothers me more.

The single engine Tejas mk 2 = twin engine capabilities..

This would have required too much time it better to extent length breadth of already made platform to increase endurance & range .

There were rumours of airforce version tedbf aka ORCA but they cancelled the programme bcoz of mrfa and additional orders of mk1a . Hopefully orca returns with new tedbf design

@@krishKOfficial exactly the point.. when AMCA is still not approved how are even expecting to get approval for TEDBF which have not even reached the approval level for Prototype Also note that TEDBF is a logical extension of Naval Tejas and Naval Tejas couldn't fulfill the requirements of Navy.. If i remember the news right.. the funding that was allocated for LCA-Navy program is to be used for Design stages for TEDBF..

@@karthikmk1839 I what's the point you want to make. Amca completed pdr cdr but still not approved. Why? Who's fault is this? Every country allocate funds right after pdr and even before that. But they want drdo to complete PDR CDR and still there is no guarantee that it will get approval immediately. Aise to ho gaya "AtMAniRbHar" in defence. LCA navy was modified using HAL's internal funds. Look R&D there are two major factors money and time,and they are inversely proportional to each other. So less money, more time.

@@krishKOfficial we all know CCS delays funding approval and funding process has change.. But that doesnt give ADA an excuse for not completing their part of the job ie) PDR . if ADA complete the PDR and then say project progress is delayed to the fund that make sense

@@karthikmk1839 PDR keliye Paisa chaiye bhai PAISA, *initial FUNDING* wo kaun dega. And if they want ADA to do all by their internal funds then we shouldn't cry about delay. Cuz in every defence development, money and time are inversely proportional .less money more time.

Free cash flow don't mean they can use fund where ever they want, not only that even after that they have take loan these projects are of billion dollars
