It was a pleasure to watch the fight and the fighters ring interview. I had it a draw but what do I know. Given the age of Beterbiev I am happy for him to reach his goal, even sad that Bivol lost his 0; but he will come back and get hopefully also his goal - if boxing politics allow. Both deserve to be in the boxings hall of fame, based on the qualities in and out of the ring.

Bivol gave away round 11 and 12 way too easy. Hardly threw a punch while allowing Beterbiev to just stalk him around the ring and push him backwards which always seems very appealing to the judges!!

i agree, i had it 5rounds each at the start of the 11th and beterbiev definately won 11 and 12 + beterbiev kept pushing the pace all night and seemed to hurt bivol more .... good fight, rematch would be amazing bivol should have a chip on his shoulder now

Beterbiev edged it for me because of his aggression, Bivol faded in the last 3 rounds because he worked so hard in the fight and he was exhausted. Both are great and would love a rematch

In the past, Bivol didn't want to meet Beterbiev until he was older. It turned out that even though he was older, nothing had changed in Beterbiev. In fact, Bivol himself had changed, unlike usual in other matches.

Beterbiev had a serious knee injury just 5 months ago. Not enough time for the injury to heal completely. Wait for a rematch: Artur will drop Bivol.

Beterbiev won the fight, he took Bivol to deep waters and then fought a fight Bivol dint want to fight. In championship rounds, Bivol was completely clueless and it was just his chin that held up and lasted him through. It just tells you that Beterbiev is more complete fighter because he fought first 6 rounds in Bivols way and then started shifting momentum towards his side and finally in the championship rounds, Bivol was completely in a place where the Undisputed king wanted him to be and he had nothing in his skill set to offset the offence.

the ESPN commentary was blatantly biased. I thought Bertebiev was winning rounds but they just kept shouting out Bivol no matter what and showing his highlights in-between rounds. Really embarrassing stuff. Close fight but certainly Artur did the most damage and I thought correctly got the decision.

Finally someone says. Scored it 9 rounds to 3. Even the replays were all Bivol. But Beterbiev won more rounds. Just look at their faces, proof is there. Beterbiev won more duels, had him on the back foot.

I think the ESPN commentary was being fairly unbiased considering they both were P4P and weren’t favoring one fighter more than the other. They were complimenting Bivol on the fact that he wasn’t allowing Arthur to setting feet to land hard shots, while also mentioning stuff like “Beterbiev isn’t out of this yet.”

It's always good to hear what Teddy thought. I thought Artur held ring generalship the entire fight. Bivol looked like he was going to 'break' (phsyically - like snap in half). Bivol was fragile. Artur showed the skill that he is - a boxing genius. Even without a KO, Artur showed brilliance. I agreed with the 116-112 judge.

A lot of people forget how important is ring control, when both fighter defend well, you look at who is the agressor, who is the fighter putting that extra tempo and that was Beterbiev for me. I scored it 116-114 ( gave draws to the rounds where I could not differentiate).

That was a p4p #1 type performance from Bivol, to survive 12 with him is crazy... GGG's own trainer said Canelo did what he needed to. And Canelo was the dedicated power puncher and pressed the action in that fight whereas GGG backed up and wouldn't commit to his power like usual or risk throwing to the body period. GGG tried to jab his way out of the fight he called for but only caught more damage with Canelo having less to worry about as he hammered his head and body with power.

In the rematch Artur will kill him. You can see he was out of breathe, broken and getting beat up badly. He flatters to deceive with all those flurries. He was on survival mode and in the post fight, he said, Artur cardio and power is insane for his age. I don’t have a fav, but Artur won. Why’s nobody talking about the straight rights through the guard. The punch selection was way better than those Flurries. Once Bivol throws flurries, he gassed and gets beat up. He was scared to engage & even his bicycle wheel fell off as his legs were taking away from him. At a stage he couldn’t lift a finger and was just eating combos in 9-12. I’ll rather be Artur in this fight. If it was the old school 15 rounds fight, Bivol would have been k!lled.

This is why Teddy Atlas is the best even though he picked Bivol to win and he said there would be a moment in the fight when Bivol would have to answer the door 🚪.. the 11th mentally he didn't break but physically we saw Bivol hurt for the first time 🙏🌍

I had Bivol I thought the combos and more accurate punching win fights. Just because someone’s coming forward doesn’t really mean anything. He was landing punches, but he got hit with way more combinations.

*Unlike us, Judges being ringside heard the impact of Beterbiev's punches vs Bivol's that weren't having much impact.* Bivol was covering up & running away at times. Close fight, but Beterbiev won.

I had 115-113 round 7 was a swing round, 5 and 10 were close and I can see disputes on rounds 3 and 4 too for people, very close fight but Artur deserved this. Bivol is class act too, great fighters. With the close rounds I can see why bivol fans are upset.

Bivol was on his back foot all night…running. It was very close though…..hard to judge

Being on the box foot is a style of boxing. Bivol landed the the cleaner punches and should have won. Bivol ceded the last 2 rounds too easily and in the end the maybe the fight should have been. Also as Teddy Atlas points out, Beterbiev ALWAYS tries to land horizontal hammer-first style punches to the back of the head in ALL of his fights (though Teddy didn't use those words).

I had it 5-5 going into the championship rounds. Thought Artur won the last 2 rds. I picked Bivol to win and wanted it to be draw but I believed Artur to be the true winner

This was a chess match between 2 elite undefeated world champions. In my opinion both of them did enough to win, but neither of them deserved to lose. This was a tactical DRAW between two warriors.

I had predicted a Artur win. What motivated me was his Ability to make adjustments in his last fight. While going through video , I didn't see many or any fighters who really pressed Bivol to force him to change his strategy up. People were going for Bivol for what he did to Canelo not understanding that was mostly punch absorption.

It's subjective scoring. Some judges like fighters who press the action. others prefer boxers who box and use the ring.

And this is exactly why Atlas is usually BONKERS. Fights are scored on points and rounds, not ‘subjective geography’. The person who wins more rounds wins. Bivol wasn’t up just one round, he was up 2 rounds. Great Fight.

controlled the Centre of the ring more aggressive man walked forward all of the time did more damage to the face constant pressure and bivol was mostly defensive trying to stay away from the ropes,had a flurry of punches in between but not damaging at all. anyones whos saying a robbery dont know boxing at all. how can a close fight be a robbery lol. beterbiev dictated the pace of the game.won the championship rounds and i felt like he took few rounds in last 30 sec where bivol went off
