Happy, happy po'pine dance! Teddy Bear, the talking porcupine, is NOT talking in this one -- just frolicking about on Christmas morning, so happy to be spending time indoors with his favorite human. NOTE: This is a rare BEHIND THE SCENES OUT-TAKE of what it's REALLY like to record a Teddy video -- this was one of about 20 attempts to record a new Christmas video for his fans.

to Teddy bears mom: I just want to tell u how Teddy bear has truly help me I suffer from crippling depression but when ever I am in a dark moment I just watch his videos and seeing him and is o so cute noises instantly makes me so happy and melts my heart I sometimes feel animals are our guardian angels in the animal form here on earth they definitely have alot to teach us and in this Case Teddy bear is here to love u and make people smile deep within .also my mom taught me when I was a kid that all animals and humans get filled with the Holly spirit on Christmas it think this is proof well god bless you both .

Hi I just wanted to say,I don’t suffer from crippling depression but I do get a little down sometimes and I too look for animal vids to cheer me up,and this little thing certainly does that! If I could live on a desert island with just animals I would! Keep watching them,my thoughts are with you,god bless,Wendysyn :)

Teddy Bear is so adorable!!! I love that he's excited. You are an excellent caretaker/mommy for this cutie. Animals show much personality when they are loved and don't have to worry about survival. You are doing well!

Adorable! Love the spinning - it's similar to what skunkies do when they're "play-fighting". They stamp their front legs, then slide 'em back while turning to show you their tails.

We raised a baby raccoon and he used to do that spinning dance- with jumps! - when he was happy. One time a rolling basketball bumped him in the head and he danced around like crazy as we laughed. It made me wonder if animals have a sense of humor and this is their way of laughing.

I beleive this type of porcupine doesn't have barbs on its quills like the porcupines most are used to seeing/hearing about (it's why they look fluffier/softer than other types)

These videos are seeing a resurgence. I have viewed a bunch of 5 year old videos. I still can't believe that's him "talking" porcs I have encountered around the US never talk to me. They usually run off.😆 They look similar from Maine to Texas. I actually tried to get an armidillo while living in Texas. He ran off also.😑

His talking often seems to be him voicing annoyance at something, like how hard it is to get into an acorn or the girl trying to steal his corn in the other video. In this video he's super happy, nothing to complain about.

I watched the other Christmas morning video with Teddy, He is a sweetheart, but.....we love our children more than anything in the world, how many of us would allow them to eat corn on the cob, on a white rug.

I really enjoy these videos ! It's amazing to see how he responds to you. You have a gift for sure ; thank you for sharing it with us. When I watch these videos it's usually at the end of the evening and they help me forget about my worries for a little while so that I can relax . Then I say my prayers and sleep well.

I love how clumsy he seems. I have never seen a porcupine doing it's porcupine stuff up close and I never knew what they sounded like but I love your videos of him eating and chattering away lol. He reminds me of my fat cat pork chop except much more... porky.
