The date of 1973 is wrong. * * * Teddy performed at the "Music Inn" in Rome in late April/early May 1974, in his 4th Italian tour. * * * Teddy Wilson was in Italy probably for the first time in early October 1955, but only for holidays (a week with his wife Janice and his son Teddy Jr.). His first Italian tour was with the Jazz at the Philharmonic, in November 1966 (with Coleman Hawkins, Benny Carter, Louis Bellson, etc.). His 2nd was in July 1970. Third in October 1972. And his 4th tour in April-May 1974, with concerts also at the cabaret "Music Inn" (in Largo dei Fiorentini, 3) in Rome. Three dates: April 30 and May 1 & 2. * * * * *
