I had a thought. So they have said that The Sound was produced and written 3 years ago, and super bowl here was suppose to be god's menu and therefore recorded back then. Stray kids have been teasing for the last year that they want to have a song in the Deadpool 3 movie. What if they already have that song picked out, and Ryan Reynolds has heard and approved, and they are all just sitting on it waiting to destroy us all.
I feel that way too. Cuz Ryan's team actively interacts with skz every now and then to rekindle that connection. I feel like there's a specific reason for it 😭

This is now my cooking track. 😁 The "Super Bowl" reference is probably the trend that a lot of restaurants have been following of offering a few "super food" items on their menu. These are usually high protein, low carb, gluten-free, and sometimes vegan. A lot that I've seen are quinoa salads or stir-frys, so they're one-bowl meals.

I definitely think this track is better suited for them now vs. when God’s Menu was released. It just hits different and has has much more of an impact these few years! As always, I love going through this album with you, Teddy!
StrayKids really makes sure that they develop both as a group and as individuals within that group. They use each others strength, but also explore new ways, making sure they don't get stuck in a repeated pattern. The thing is, it's easy to think they have a certain pattern if you just go by song popularity, but if you think of when the tracks were actually done you'll find the diversity is constant, just not immediately presented. I love your reactions and just want to point out that your awake 24 hours state is no different from your normal one when it comes to fanmaning over these men. : )
I think the “Super Bowl” reference is the trend of restaurants making meal bowls that have perfectly balanced meals with protein, grains, and vegetables, etc. basically saying they’re music is a perfect balance of different styles and flavors.

Felix' rap deliveries are SO good in this album. Although his flows are made by 3racha except for FNF. I think he added the rap flow in that song to the topline Chan made acc to what they said in the INTRO. They outdid themselves with this album dude it's crazy

One thing SKZ Trademark: they’re intense. i remember how ppl said thunderous is not as ‘noisy’ as god’s menu, but if you listen carefully you feel it has same intensity but in a different way. and same thing goes with this superbowl. like, they not spitting fire directly like gods menu, but they whispering this same deadly invisible cold freezing nitrogen ice. and you realized later you’re already cooked and served in a superbowl.

You'll notice a lot in kpop if a certain genre or era of music trends/resurfaces, a lot of groups will do their own take. If equating your music to food was trending when SKZ released God's Menu, this feels like what NCT what have made lol
They said God's Menu was a last minute track. They need to beg to the company that they really want to do the new God's Menu, and thankfully the company give them the chances.
someone in the comments might've told you this already, but this was the original God's Menu, meanwhile the one that was released during Go Live era was God's Menu 2.0. So this song has been seating in Chan's laptop for at least 3 years🤯
