interesting that the pain in both tests started to rise around the last follow up. I'm about to start TMS for lyme, depression, and pain.

I am 3/4 through treatment. Steady with progress but I could still use the prayers, thank you for my help through magnetic therapy! Praise God!

I’m currently half way through TMS for depression and severe anxiety. This was a NeuroStar machine. They began on the left side (to wake the brain activity). It was short pulses with pauses. 20 min long.Some of these visits were extremely painful and I cried through it. The doctor said it was odd that I was getting worse not better. I had migraines everyday, neck pain, nausea, disorientation and in the evening very high levels of agitation, overwhelm and panic. The doctor finally switched to the right side (anxiety) using constant pulse to “calm” the anxiety. It was very hard to tolerate. I could taste metal and my right eye spasmed and twitched for 30 min. Things got even more agitated, depressed and overwhelming. I almost stopped treatment but doctor believes any change is good change with this. He was sure I will turn around and see results. He lowered the power and switched back to left brain for 20 min. At half way I think I may see a baby step up from the depression finally but my anxiety and panic and overwhelm is still at the forefront. The doctor said I was a very unusual result. I wonder if my brain had just been dimming for so long that it’s just going to take more aggressive treatment to wake it up. My next option is ketamine. I’ve heard good things from both these treatments. Just ready to smile again. 😊

It’s available here in England at my nhs hospital yet in spite of being in hospital for 3 weeks with severe depression I wasn’t offered it when i asked, was told I have to basically try all anti depressants first. It’s just not right as I’m in such a bad way

Very nice. A newer modality known PEMF, which uses the same TMS fields but can be applied to the entire body. You can find research review articles and a book about it on our website.

I’m starting in June. 5 days a week for 6 weeks straight. I wonder how practical in-home portable units could be for extended treatment?

I'm Interested in Brains after A MULTITUDE Major Stokes. IM HAVEING SHORT AND EVEN NOW LONG TERM MERORIES ISSUES. TALKING IN A GROUP OR TO ONE PERSON AN MY BRAIN COMPLETELY BLANK'S OUT ON SOMETHING THAT I'D LIKE TO DISCUSS TO ONE OR MANY OF MY FRIENDS AT THE SAME TIME. I HAVE A CLOSE DEAR FRIEND THAT IS IN HIS 80's He is the First Born to His Parents in 1939. He watched a Brother suffer a concussion One day falling as he go off at the Bus Stop. Their Parents Decided that He should get Brain Shocks For A Long Period of time. My Friend Told Me he Watched his Brother Suffer and Their Parents because he only Got Worse He Became Angry and Violent. The people/ Other Patients in this Mental Health Ward..Is where he Lived and Received Brain Shocks. This was in the 40's or 50's.

@WindTheBrave then why do they have left and right sided protocol for tms?
@ThePublicPunisher
@ThePublicPunisher Год назад
It doesn't turn off anything. Stimulates nerve cells to work better, just like muscles can be contracted and relaxed using electricity and therefore be exercised.
