His No 8 jersey is lifted in the rafters and officially retired. This is the first number to be raised by the Anaheim Ducks.

I'm gonna be completely honest: I'm a diehard Kings fan but you gotta have mad respect for Teemu. He was a great guy and it'll be tough to watch the league without him. You'll be missed, Teemu.

bballeringreen99 Why does everyone like The Mighty Ducks design so much? I honestly find it it cartoonish and silly. The new design is more fitting for a pro team.

Shep Proudfoot The colors and design of the old Mighty Ducks jersey were more unique than the many black jerseys and white jerseys out there which look a little boring to me.

Shep Proudfoot I guess the "D" in the new jersey is too abstract. For example, I had never even _really_ noticed that logo before you pointed it out...:) But then again, I don't watch NHL regularly, and that might be the reason why the old jersey was so easy to remember, unusual colors.

For real? Well the only reason I knew is because of the 2006-2012 jerseys. The Duck foot D is in the word ducks on the jersey.

So great! For some reason since I was little playing hockey hearing his name reminds me of Pat Falloon, I always heard those two In the same conversation, what ever happened to him? What a good dude Teemu!

Falloon played 9 seasons in the NHL, scoring 143 goals but in the end he wasn't good enough to have a career as long as Teemu.

Even it was beautiful scene there STILL wasnt the letter "Ä" but A in Teemu´s surname. I think you are real Selänne fan only if you can say correctly his name, right ? I bet most people in California can`t say even the first name.
