This is disgraceful!! My heart goes out to the family. This follows a New York district attorney saying that he won't prosecute armed robbery as a felony IF no one is injured. This is exactly why that is wrong!
@@jefflance3648 you are confused about your right and left. He is a very progressive DA. This DA believes only a murderer should go to jail and NOTHING else! By definition if he was FAR right he would have the polar opposite belief, which is that everyone should go to prison. Neither of these extremes are good for a community! We need prison reform with more opportunities for drug/alcohol treatment, education and skilled labor training. All of those things have proven to reduce recidivism, which should be the goal of we believe people can change.
This pisses me off. A honest teenager who is just trying to work. She and the other victims should be held up as heros. God bless her soul and family. New York allowed their City to get out of control. Citizens should not live in fear because local government does not do its job.

It hits differently when they're that young. She had so much ahead of her. I've got a little brother who's around the same age and I can't even begin to imagine that sort of loss. This is so tragic. The majority of the time the innocent always pays the price for the evil that has become almost a daily event. I pray for peace for the family, a parent should never have to lose a child, there is nothing more horrific. This should never happen, what the hell is happening in this world. It's always the same rhetoric when these tragedies occur. I give my condolences 🙏. I hope this person is apprehended. I don't think it's anything they can do. People's hearts have gotten cold 🥶. I was first deployed to Burger King back in 18, during operation Foot Lettuce. I was lucky enough to come back home, but my heart goes out to all the soldiers fighting in Burger King everyday.
These franchises need to start installing bullet proof glass and fire proof barriers. It is no longer safe to work at what was once considered a " First Job." Tragic beyond belief, the franchise should pay for her funeral.
