Teen entrepreneur Mason Wright of Stonecrest, Georgia, discusses his journey parlaying a hot dog cart into his own restaurant, Mason Super Dogs, and his goal for the future of the business.
That's amazing. I remember in the east coat as a 14 year old is hard to even find Lawns to mow at that age and cars to wash and if you did you had yo compete with big companies and receive huge pay cuts because you're young. Being able to help provide for your family and have options like that is amazing at that age.
I had a rolling hotdog wagon back in the 70's when I was 15. One of my parents would hook-up the stand to their auto and drive me to a good spot on the side of a highway with a lot of commercial truck traffic, then unhook the stand and leave me there all day selling hotdogs to truckers that would pull off to the side of the highway to get a dog. Then my parents would come back late in the day and get me and my wagon. I loved it. The money was mine to keep but I did have to pay them back for the wagon and of course buy my own supplies, but it bought my first car, a motorcycle, and an education. This kid is great!
Congratulations to Mason for opening up your own business. You are very intelligent At least you find something that you interest you and also worthwhile. God Bless you young man keep up the good works, You are to a great start at 14 years.
He impresses me, the majority of kids of his age spend their time on computer to play games. If he continues like he does, he will go far and he is an example to others. 🌭🏆
@@schwarzerregen957 You are correct! Very rare to even see kids playing outside, being active and BAD on parents for using cell phones as babysitters!!!
He is doing something positive besides seeking drugs or committing other crimes that would get him in trouble! I hope that he goes on to bigger and better things because he is determined and ambitious!
Amazing kid! Hard worker, well educated, and an inspiration to others. I have no doubt he will be a huge success in life. I'm willing to "almost" bet anything he will be a millionaire by 30-years old. I would invest my money into his businesses when he is ready to start franchising.
His chances of being in prison are much higher than him having $20,000 in his bank account at age 30. His chances of ever being a millionaire are all but nonexistent
You know what this warms my heart to see such positive things we need allot more truly felt stories like this on the news good job ABC and btw everyone loves a story of success more than a one of tragedy 💖 ❤ 💙
Excellent, Idea, For This Young Man, At An Early Age, He Is Showing How He Has Put His Mind, And Showing Everyone, There Is An Opportunity For Him And Anyone, To Realize Money 💰 Doesn’t Grow On Trees. It Comes From Working For It. He Is Poised, Showing Wonderful, Work Experience At His Age. This Is Structure In The First Degree, Once Again At An Early Age, This Is Definitely From His Family Members!! Super Job, To His Family. God Bless, The Young man, And The Family Too. Keep Up The Outstanding Teachings.👏🏽😊🙏
I love that he included a vegan hot dog. We have limited food options and if he’s the only quick food option, then I’m getting myself a hotdog at his restaurant. Hope he sells fries.
There isn’t a such thing as stone crest georgia. It’s stone crest mall and the neighborhood around it is sometimes called stone crest but it isn’t meaning that it’s a city. The city is called litho nia which is dekalb county.
The insurance we had to buy for our food truck. The liability of someone’s health. This is not a kids business. If you have ever had food poisoning you would see this differently. Most food poisoning is caused by bacteria on hands not the food.
There is something they are not telling us here because I have a food cart and for 10 years and no 14 year old boy can do this by himself. But he is doing well no doubt.
