How Many Tears live Wacken is a bomb with all 3 singers, the guy with the red guitar was the singer from the beginning but he took a step back on the second album for Mikael Kiske.
@@AaliyahCapili LISTEN ! TAKE CARE . . . this is HELLOWEEN ! Saw them in 1987 ! 1987 I was 19 years ! So as you today . . . but the MUSIC was way better as 2023
Highly, highly recommend the studio version of Keeper of the Seven Keys by Helloween as it’s one of the best vocal performances-imo-ever by Michael Kiske.
@@AaliyahCapili but the live from pumpkins united tour is also pretty good just some 30ish years later than the recording and features all singers they had.
Great reaction. Michael Kiske was the idol for metal voices in germany back then. Tobias Sammet of Avantasia for example began singing when he heard Kiske. Andi has a special tone in his voice and is a great singer too. If you like them, How many Tears or Keeper of the Seven Keys from the same tour are great songs.
Kai Hansen - the band's original vocalist & lead guitarist, left in 1986/1987 to go solo - vocal style very raspy and gritty, but still able to punch on the higher ends. Michael Kiske - successor to Hansen as lead vocalist, whose vocals were cleaner and more melodic, almost no deeper tones. Andi Deris - successor to Kiske, whose vocals are like a brilliant combination of both Hansen's raspy gritty growls, AND Kiske's piercing higher range. The return of both Hansen AND Kiske to the band, while retaining Deris, is an amazing move - I don't know many bands who have 3 lead vocalists, save for bands like KISS who have always "shared" lead vocal duties (depending on the song), but that is a little different cos it's not like all vocalists (Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, and occasionally Peter Criss) chime in on the same song (not counting backup vocals). With bands like Helloween having 3 lead vocalists AND 3 lead guitarists (just like Iron Maiden, who also has 3 lead guitarists), metal is getting pretty expansive. From little power trios to standard quartets & quintets, to sextets and bigger... soon a metal band will be an entire orchestra, like TSO, haha.
I agree, but just one correction: Kai didn't leave Helloween in 86/87 (Keeper 1 release). He left the band after the release of the live "Live in U.K." (1989).
You did it, you wonderful girl! 😘😘 P.s. The show was almost three hours long, and included one song, Keeper of the Seven Keys that is longer. That is probably why you can see Andi take most of the weigh on this one Michael does most of Keeper solo. P.p.s. The brilliant vocals with lots of high notes and the gorgeous guitar harmonies are staples of the power metal sub-genre. Beware, it's adictive! 😉
@@AaliyahCapili No, thank you for steping out of the safe zone of the usual artists that monopolise reaction channels. ❤ Btw, if you want Floor in a more similar song to this, do Ayeron The Day the World Breaks Down, 3 singers of other great power metal bands are also in it. 😉🤩
hello!! good reaction. kai hansen is one of the guitarists (with pink guitar). He was the founder of helloween and also created another band called gammaray where he sings. He has a very peculiar voice and as good as Andy or Kiske's and it is very cool to see him play the guitar and sing. He also sings in avantasia doing some role, and in many other projects. I recommend you watch him with gammaray to hear his voice. in the choirs of this song (halloween) his timbre was appreciated when he accompanied.

I want to recommend Rhapsody to you. They were there even before Nightwish doing symphonic epic metal as they once called it. Orchestra plus metal and a fantasy story over four to 5 albums. they even collabed with Christopher Lee as a singer! and narrator (Magic of the wizards dream). In Sacred Power of raging winds we get violin and guitar duels in between. They even used the famous intro of antonin dvoraks new world symphony for an epic chorus in the wizard's last rhymes. In Lamento Eroico we get more operatic singing in an epic chorus. I personally love the era before they called themselves Rhapsody of fire most. Maybe Luis and others can finally help sorting things out. This is just my opinion. Of course there are many more good/great songs. I just mentioned some I thought might be fascinating for someone with an opera background.
Hai, nice to see you watching this two fabelous singer. Have a cool halloween There is another nice "song" you will see 13 singer and a lot of musician playing "overture" from their rockopera check out "Ayreon" - the day the world breaks down
Holy crap, I had no clue you did Helloween! That motif is peak heavy metal. A great future reaction would be a Kai Hansen sung Helloween song (Ride The Sky, or Victim Of Fate, or his other band Gamma Ray with him singing the Helloween songs I Want Out, or Future World). Gamma Ray also have great songs of their own like Into The Storm, Rebellion in Dreamland, The Heart Of the Unicorn or Send Me A Sign.
Hi Aaliyah from Germany. After a cool but beautiful sunny day I was listening to some of my favorite music (e.g. Lara Fabian’s ‚Broken Vow‘, Aurora’s interpretation of ‚Life On Mars‘, La Boheme) when your video popped up. How good can a day get/end ? What a great song, musicianship and voices. The fun the guys on stage had resonated through the screen and what vibes going back and forth with the crowd. Your reaction connected all these facets together like colors only become a masterpiece through the creative hand and mind of an artist. Thanks so much for this awesome and bit spooky music highlight. Stay well, be blessed and keep your gorgeous smile. P.S. Closing in on 5K, deeply deserved !
This is an 1980s song ! And here number one in the show so imagine another one of this length later the same show! Keeper of the seven keys is a must in their shows.
Greetings from germany! I grow up with them... today i'm more black/death metalhead but i hope you will react to " keeper of the seven keys " ! For me it is the best song ever written!
My advice to u....listened to the music video 1988 version of Halloween...Michael Kiske voice is phenomenal it suits him well but Andy Deris has his own tone for his musics
Hello, thank you for the video. I would like to see your reaction to the talented singer Diana Ankudinova. Recently, she performed the song "Can't help falling in love" by Elvis Presley, and it turned out to be a masterpiece. I hope to see this on your channel, so that the video is not blocked, the image can be blurred, translucent or closed with a picture.😊
Recommendations : - "Sanctuary" by *Sanctuary* off "Refuge Denied". Or "Ascension to Destiny". Or "Epitaph" off "Into the Mirror Black" - "Mayday" by *Crimson Glory* off their self-titled album. Or "Dragon Lady". Or "Lost Reflection".
This song is even more impressive, once you realize it is meant to be sung by one person. Of course this is my favorite version, sicne both singers are amazing, but it is origally meant to be sung by only one singer... imaigne all the stamina they need. Not to mention, this is not their hardest song to sing.
I am very sorry for dissapointing you😔your feedback is well noted, hope you can check out other videos in my channel, hopefully it can be a better experience🙏thanks so much for watching🤗
Halloween was the opening song for this show, now watch the ending song for this almost two hour long show how the voices still hold steady. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1CqaLqNyFDI.html
@ Armando Araújo Not sure if you'll see this cos YouTurd has been giving me a glitch where I cannot reply directly to comments anymore, I can only post new comments... You replied to a comment I made about the band Helloween : _"I agree, but just one correction: Kai didn't leave Helloween in 86/87 (Keeper 1 release). He left the band after the release of the live "Live in U.K." (1989)."_ Yes! You are correct! My bad - I knew that, I don't know how I got that wrong? Kai merely stepped back from vocal duty, but remained with the band as guitarist. How the hell did I get that wrong, lol. Thanks for the correction/reminder. 🙂
Hello Aaliyah, really liked your reaction, subed, btw you should react to keeper of the seven keys from the same show (united alive 2017) really amazing song and vocals
Hi again. I don't know if you read new comments on your older videos, but I just have a habit of commenting anyway when I feel I have something to say. In the 1980s, Helloween used to be one of my favorite bands, but when in 1989 Kai Hansen left, and in 1993 Michael Kiske left, they released some albums that just weren't as good as what they had done before and I kind of lost touch with them. This is one of the songs from when I still really loved them and while I really love seeing that they do it with two singers nowadays, I feel like this performance isn't as good as the original version of this song with just Michael singing. It may be my personal taste, having heard the original version many hundreds of times, but something about this version just doesn't feel as good with me. I have seen them perform a version of the song Keeper of the seven keys, possibly from the same concert, which I thought more reflected the original sound. If you enjoy the metal, here's a few more suggestions for amazing metal singers you can react to: Ronnie James Dio (Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Dio), Ozzy Osbourne (Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne), Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden), Rob Halford (Judas Priest), Joey Belladonna (Anthrax), Geoff Tate (Queensryche), Udo Dirkschneider (Accept, UDO), Doro Pesch (Warlock, Doro), Kimberley Goss (Sinergy) and there are tons more. I really hope you enjoy your journey into discovering more metal.
Ohhh thanks so much for sharing and i am grateful for all of your recommendations💕I will definitely check it out too🥰have a great day, much appreciated
