🌴I have to say, this was one of the hardest videos that took me a few months to put together! I know you'd find product recommendations in other channels/mediums so I truly wanted to strip down and bring you guys back to the basics. I'm seeing so, so many of young palmies out there with never ending struggle with acne, congestion, clogged pores, inflammation etc. And I knew that it was so different from what I grew up with. Then I found out how many products you're using, how high of concentration of actives you're relying on when your skin simply doesn't need it, YET. MORE IS NEVER BETTER when it comes to teen skincare. Respect what you already have with basic, no frills products that falls in your budget. Start makeup as late as possible. Not because it damages your skin but really, you're beautiful without it! - Liah x
Liah Yoo 리아유 hi! I have a 14 years old niece who struggles with a little bit of acne, she uses a face soap that I think is a bit hard for her and no moisturizer, would you sugest she usses an oil to moisturize? Since is natural and without chemichals... perhaps rosehip oil during Night time 3 times a week? Please help me 🙏🙏🙏
me not wearing makeup, changes my pillow case every week, eats healthy, washes, tones, moisturizes my face everyday but still gets pimples. *what the frick*
I had the same issues, I went to the dermatologist and he gave me pills for a month and recommended to quit using soap, gave me a cream for greasy skin, it helped a lot.
Ellie*rm That's what I thought too! I was watching her acne video and thought she was like 19-20 and probably her acne was just teenage hormonal acne abd that's why it went away but late twenties.. Man I wish I would look that good when I'm in my late twenties
Rada Surmach but late 20 is still pretty young so ofc you would look 'as good'?... guys she is 20 something-almost 30 (which is still young), you are talking like she is 45+ wtf
Things that are perfect in this video 1- the video is almost exactly 10 minutes 2- it is listed in perfect order, step by step 3- very informative but still very simple to understand 4- it gives very good vibes and motivates better care of your skin
Finally someone who gives actual real advice instead of just pushing products on everyone, especially young teens! You are very rare - your level of research and accurate data is admirable! Keep up the good work
At the moment my cheeks and chin are not oily or dry, my nose is super oily but covered in peeling skin and dark marks and my forehead always breaks out. Lord help me
I dont know if this will help but if you're breaking out on your forehead while the rest of your face is normal skin type then search up acne mapping, cause theres specific reasons why you break out on a specific spot (from personal experience im pretty sure the forehead part is caised by diet? Double check pls)
Idk I am just using it since a few days but I think cold pressed(organic) oils help. I'm using Jojoba oil every night and i think my oily skin on my nose got a little bit less oily but like I said I only use it since a few days soo yeah
YOUR DIET IS SUPER IMPORTANT TOO aight ill add an edit: you can do everything right and still have problems. because you dont notice results where you WANT them to be doesnt mean it's not important to do. ex: exercising in the sun may help people feeling depressed, but it wont cure depression for most. you still gotta go to therapy and get medicated ex2: you eat perfectly healthy. your body is at its peak. you get cancer. eating healthy isnt gonna cure, nor was it gonna prevent your cancer, but your body is in the best spot when you start your recovery when you see medical professionals and by diet? i mean eat healthy. no fad diets yall. listen to your doctor on what nutrients you might need to focus on and ask what foods you can eat to supplement that
I highly recommend to go to a doctor or a dermatologist when you first get acne or other skin problems. This was where I went wrong. I turned to others who were older than me and used products that they were using, used what youtubers were using and trying to "self-cure" my skin. The more useless products and strong "acne" products I used, the more it made it worse and worse.
it really depends on the skin. I went to a dermatologist because I suddenly had ridiculous breakouts. The things they gave me didn't do anything for me
I just went to a dermatologist 2 days ago because I got one hell of a breakout when I came back from summer holidays. He said it was an infection which caused acne , I was shocked because I never had problems with my skin. Well , here and there there would be some unevenness and redness but no breakouts to such extend. The doc gave me pills against the infection ( I think its antibiotics for skin ) and additionally a gel with benzyl peroxide which I should apply every day in the evening on the infected areas. He also gave me samples of skincare products but I have super dry skin and those samples were for oily and acne prone skin so I was like ehhh????
Freshtaa omg definitely! I wish I went to a dermatologist sooo much sooner than I did. Had I gone on accutane like 6 months earlier than I did I would’ve prevented a lot of bad acne scarring and emotional pain
Im 16 and i never wear makeup (no knowledge at all) because i have acne prone skin which improved alot after i used the corsx pimple pad(Thank you Liah😚💙🌴🌴🌴). I just feel im like the ugly one with my friends because of their skin are flawless and their makeup too. Anyone facing the same situation as me T.T
Jimin has JAMS in his DNA I feel this so much. My friend has perfect skin and she doesn't wash her face and uses body lotion to moisturize 😭😭😭 on the plus side though, there's been research that suggests that people with acne in their teens won't show as much signs of aging as those who didn't, so there's that. And not wearing makeup is probably a good thing, removing it can be really difficult and cause more breakouts in the end
Yess I have a cystic acne at the moment & I cannot describe how embarrassing it is to even be outside of my house. I hope corsx pads keep working for ya! :)
Right, wish I could have heard this 13 years ago so I wouldn’t have applied Benzoyl Peroxide sport treatment cream every day like a foundation 😂😭 definitely kept acne at bay, but I developed a serious sensitivity to it so now my most effective acne medication is 100% off-limits. Also, it would explain why I need the heaviest, most occlusive moisturizers known to man to not feel like a desert when my skin is not a dry type.
My mom really hinders me to use a lot of products when i was young until i was already teenager. I wasnt even allowed to use shampoo. Just basic soap. A super mild soap that can be used for babies. I never had any skin problems until i secretly started usinh shampoo. It irritated my face and developed acne and because I dont know how to treat it i tried to use ponds facial cleanser and toner because it very known here in the Philippines then my acne worsen. I dont sole blame it on ponds i realized now that I disrupted my face natural oil since i was using cleanser for acne and toner for acne without using moisturizer. And it probably dried out and damaged my skin.. i suffered acne since then. After 16yrs I begin to understand my skin. I switch to natural and mild product and cobtinuosly lessening the products I used soon as I feel that my skin is already renewing itself. Now it just all about hydration hydration hydration and sunblock. And exfoliate once in a while. I cant stop looking how clear my skin is now. :)
plain patch im still trying to look for my go to sunblock. I havent found it just yet. First i used maxipeel. It ok. But i do get whiteheads from it. Then the belo tinted but hindi ako hiyang. Ng kaka pimple ako. Then i tried quick fx. Ok lang din pero to thick and i get white heads. Now im using the celeteque dermo science sun care matte moisture. So far mas ok to sa lahat nang na try ko but nagkaka whiteheads parin ako and hindi ganun ka matte. But in daytime i just use primer after putting this. And it helps. At sa whitehead naman just exfoliate lang talaga once a week. But after maubos ko to. Ill try iba naman kasi di ko pa tlaga mahanap din yunh right sunblock for me. Baka yung innisfree na with aloevera try ko next kasi gel sya instead cream. Mas ok kasi talaga ang gel sa mga oily and sensitive skin.
plain patch plain patch hello, sis! I am from the Philippines as well. Liah made a dedicated video for ingredients to look for in a sunscreen, and what ingredients to avoid. :) So far, I found a product that has those 2 ingredients she recommend. The Klair's Midday Lotion has both titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, and is free from Benzophenone (a.k.a. Oxybenzone-3). But I havent't tried the product yet since I am still waiting for it to arrive. :)
yes! i'm in my teens and did had a pretty extensive skincare routine, about like 7 steps, but during my exam period i narrowed it down to 3 steps only and I realised my skin actually looked better? o.o
hi i thought i'd drop my skincare routine here in case it helps someone! (im fourteen) morning: wash with water spray rose water (natural toner) moisturize sunscreen night: wash with foaming cleanser rose water brightening night serum moisturize this keeps my skin really clear! i may be young but i get all kinds of acne so this helps, my skin is almost completely clear 🥰
I'm 13 I have textured skin do you think this routine is simplistic yet effective Am cleanse with micellar water Tone with a mineral spray Hydrating serum Moisturiser SPF Then PM routine 1 Cleanse is the cerave sa cleanser to combat my texture Toner Hydrating serum Moisturiser Routine 2 but with the cerave hydrsting cleanser instead
FINALLY I FOUND YA BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS TYPE OF VIDEO HUHU Almost every youtuber ive come acrossed surpringly has a skincare routine with very strong products especially for teens.
pali susana Hi. :) Liah has a very good video about skin barrier, which could possibly explain why your skin reacts to every product you try to use. :)
As a cleanser have you tried the brand “simple” its a drugstore cleanser and it works wonders. I get some moisture not too much, its specifically for sensitive skin of all skin types. Another one I used is Lush’s Angels on Bare Skin a bit more costly but u can always ask for samples in store but I appreciate it because of its natural ingredients
@@tiffanythai5262 if you have dry skin, I recommend neutrogena hydro boost gel cleanser, it has hyaluronic acid which is safe, and it works to moisturize your face while getting the dirt.
My sister: *moves hand over forehead* Bro your skin is so smoooth Me: stOp My forehead the next morning: we decided to invite acne to stay for a long time :D
Everyone always told me, that i should use "strong" and aggressiv products for my acne but it just made everything worse. And as soon as i only focused on hydration,my skin got so clear :D
@@winterbearforever i use a milky/foamy cleanser cuz the others are too harsh for my skin and irritate it. then i use a 2% salycylic acid serum and a vitamin c serum after that. lastly i mix a hyaluronic serum into a cream for dry skin. keeps my skin clear and hydrated :D
This actually completely fixed my skin. I went from a very complicated skincare routine that changed everyday to a simple routine of cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen. My skin is now almost clear, except for blackheads, which is something I am working on. Thank you Liah for your amazing content 💜
Your right im 16 when i first got pimples i used benzoyl peroxide and i weakened my skin barrier and it went from normal skin to oily dehydrated and now i feel it tight but oily and most of my acne is from the excess oil my skin produces bc of dehydration, thanks for this videos they really help
Jessmeless start the Cavemen Regimen. i'm not gonna explain this but its literally only washing your face with WATER, and not all the time. once a day, or less. your skin barrier will heal itself and it takes time, its gonna balance itself, i started it 1 month ago, i only today i didnt feel my t zone oily, and i sweated so much, its crazy but its working so well. i dont stress about pimples anymore cause i know my skin will heal itself. just google it and try for at least 2 months. dont give up.
Yeah I'm going to sixth grade and my skin in weird. I don't have much skin problems because my mom always told me to "use scentless soap and water, and put scentless moisturiser". It really helped and I reccomended this method!
"Be more cautious when taking advice", SO TRUE. I regret taking advice from my friends. Ive already had pretty much perfect skin at tht time. No blackheads, no scarring, no nothing. But because they i fell for their recommendationsss UGH i overestimated my skin
Liah I am 18 years old and I agree with everything you said BUT I have blackheads, sooo many acne scars and a lot of pimples in my cheek area.I cannot do nothing and just wait for them to magically go away bc I want a good skin too.I wanna be beautiful.I had skin issues since 6th grade( so almost for 7 years)
Xghsz hier Oh no!! Maybe you should go visit a dermatologist :/ They may prescribe you with isotretinoin (Accutane) which helps A LOT and antibiotics (been there done that)
Amos Koh I don't wanna take medicine for my acne :/Accutane has soo many side effects so the only thing I can do is fight it on my own becausw dermatologists and doctors these days just give you some medicine and sent you back home. This is the sad reality
Xghsz hier Well... then I guess you have to endure it. However, I think you’re the same as me- suffering from acne due to hormonal imbalance. It’ll work out once you get older when your hormones have stabilised (I hope!) best of luck :))
Xghsz hier guurl, I'm 22 and still hv hormonal imbalance. try to eat healthy. eating clean is important. i took some vitamin c too. it's getting better now :D bc i did what liah taught me in her videos. sunscreen, moisturize, chemical exfoliator only, pore-cleansing once in a while, avoid acne-prone food. my friends said my skin is healthy and glowing, despite the old scars. just gonna wait for those scars to skedaddle away. hehe good luck, girl!
Frankly speaking, THE MOST HONEST AND VERY TRUE video for all teenagers. Keep it natural. There are still many things to do. Thanks Liah Yoo, absolutely love the video.
YOU ARE WHAT EVERY PERSON WHO DOES ANY KIND OF SKIN CARE NEEDS TO SEE ON RU-vid!!! The first time I saw you in a video was in your collaboration with Renee and I like Renee a lot because her skin care advice is so sensible. And that's how I came here. When everyone else is saying 'you need this, you need that', you are very different because you say the truth, and the truth is that we actually don't need much especially when we are younger! The only thing I ever used when I was a teenager was basic face wash and a cream by Pond's that had a basic sunscreen. And even now (late 20's) I try to keep my skincare products as minimal as possible and try to use sunscreen more diligently. Even though I'm kind of crazy about Korean skincare I also use some western products like olay that I really love. I see people doing sheet masks every day even, and while I think weekly or biweekly sheet masks are good, I don't get the hype about daily sheet masks. I mean, isn't it a good idea to limit the products that contain alcohol since sheet masks contain a good amount of it.
+Anne A thank you so much!! And yes, that's why I do what I do here, to let people know what they already have is amazing. And all we need to do is respect and bring it back to balance when its imbalanced :) thanks for understanding the intent! That truly means so much to me xx
@@md.sahadathossain8416 as long as you have clean hands. You're never sure how clean others' hands are so better not let them touch it or else pores would be clogged etc.
Ha ha ha 🤣 🤣 i can't stop myself self from laughing because my best friend also have very chubby and soft cheeks and i also do that tooo..... ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ With my dirty hands.. E he he he... 😂😙😁
I finally found this video after months and I have to say this helped me so much. When I first clicked this video I was using every skin care product out there but i couldn't get rid of my acne. After watching I decided to completely restart and just wash my face with water and apply sunscreen. As time passed I noticed a huge improvement with my skin and overall I was saving so much money. After 8 months from watching this video I'm super happy with my skin and I feel really healthy.
Kira xxx I use this but this is what works for me. It might be more on the expensive side but since I don't use anything else its worth it. coolasuncare.com/collections/face/products/face-spf-50-organic-sport-sunscreen-lotion
although I'm still in my teens my skin is super dry and feels really tight often, sometimes "anti aging" skin care only contains niacinamide and moisturizing ingredients I'd say ignore the claims on skincare and look at the ingredient list, I use anti aging products and they've helped my skin become softer and stop being flaky, before I could literally lift skin flakes off of my nose. exfoliating and moisturizing well is the most important thing for us, but unfortunately not every product works for everyone and we sonetimes have to try many products before we find our holy grail. I change my skin care regimen up depending on the skin issue I'm having at that moment if I get some pimples I'll use salicylic acid on those areas, when my skin's dry I'll use hyaluronic acid and a richer moisturizer sticking to one regimen and never changing it up is something that can even worsen certain skin issues listen to your body!!!
I have a pre teen who started with severe acne problems and this is what I found works for her.: 1.Wash her face two times a day with clean and clear morning wash with vitamin C 2. As an astringent she uses Humphreys wicth hazel lotion. This took a few weeks to make her skin better, but it did work wonders
I have sensitive and combination skin. Does this routine sound like too much? - Cleanser (no double cleansing) - Toner - Exfoliate Once a week - Sheet Mask Once a Week - Moisturizer - Sun Cream
Liah, can you make a video talking about dark circles? Ive started noticing mine getting darker and darker , not sure what I should be doing for them in terms of product wise.
nicole chiu gurl, i watched dr berg's video on dark circles. I'm afraid no products will help. it's related to sugar intake and sleep. pls watch his video, i highly recommend it :) i took his advice and tadaaa my dark circles fade away.
You can put cool cucumber and ice on your dark circle everyday after you wake up. And you should check your phone in the dark..like you know when we feel like we are ready for sleep and we switch off the lamp.then suddenly we have notification so we open it ..then we forget we are going to bed😂
my favorite tip is throwing two spoons in the freezer for 10 ish minutes, and then pressing them to my under eyes for as long as they stay cold. it wont make the dark circles disappear, but it absolutely reduces swelling and the appearance of eye bags, which often cause shadows that make dark circles seem darker. plus it makes it look better when you put concealer over your under eyes!
My Skin Care Routine- (No ones gonna care but..) -Water (duh) -Cleanser -Hydrate Cleanser -Hydrate anti-drying Body lotion Annnnd sleep. Lots and lots of it..sadly tho god made me an night owl :’(
I recommend the Minimum facial cleanser by Innisfree. It (as the name shows) uses minimal ingredients and is for only hydrating and cleansing. It is a foam cleanser and is so easy to use. It is really cheap too! Also if you have acne, green tea lotions, serums, toners or anything greentea flavoured that is a skincare product works absolute wonders for your acne breakouts or any spots or pimples in general. Once again the brand Innisfree has a really cheap green tea set which includes a green tea cleanser, serum, toner balancing cream, scrub and hydrating mist(all green tea flavoured)
I'm 16 and I had terrible acne when I started middle school back then. It was horrible. My skin was really oily too. Probably because of my diet and I am overweight. I'm a science geek and while reading some books, I found out that skin oils up when it doesn't get enough water. So I spent my savings on some skin care products, and looked throught some products that might help with hydration. I started with a hydrating cleansing foam, alchohol-free mild hydrating toner (Most toners would burn on my skin and I'm glad to find this one), aloe vera moisturizer, and cucumber korean face masks. I started to drink more water and I lost a lot of water weight. I dedicated myself to it and I started to see results in about 2 weeks. I was so happy. I still get breakouts when I skip my routine for a few days but when I get back on it, my pimples dissapear right away.
Thank you for all of the work and research you do to put together these videos Liah❤️ It has taught me a lot about my skin and what it actually needs instead of using a bunch of products that did more harm(long term) than good (short term). I apparently have a DSPT skin-type as of now, I used to have oily skin, though, it may be due to the weather change as I've recently moved to a cold country/or maybe because I stopped drying my skin out with products. Currently searching for a moisturizer for winter as it gets as cold as -30c here when I'm used to 30c! Do you or anyone else have any recommendations?
Me using cleanser Toner Vit C serum Moisturizer Sun screen spf 50 Jojoba oil And still breaks out while my friends just use soap and have clear smooth skin , smh
Kfk Kfk in one of liah’s video she mentioned how teenagers shouldn’t use vitamin c or retinol as it’s unnecessary since the teenager skin is very independent and it can cause premature aging
@@yinakim6137 no, an antioxidant can't cause premature aging if used correctly. It literally fights the effect of sun damage, but if used incorrectly can obviously cause a reaction, but that's with anything in skincare really. About the retin-A idk, but I doubt that
My friends touch my face ALL THE TIME and they're like "Omg, girly, your skin is so smooth!" And I'm thinking "Yeah and you're basically inviting a *hOrrid* pimple on my face. Rude af." but it came out as "Thanks, yours is nice too"
My mom has terrible skin (large pores and scars from her teen years) she says she doesn’t want me to make the same skin mistakes as her and has helped me learn clean skin habits even before puberty. I’m proud to say I’m one of the few hormone raged teens that has utterly smooth and elastic skin. (I mean, maybe the genes from my dads side helps bc he’s got perfect trini skin)
I've been suffering from acne for almost 8 years until now. I don't know If I could still heal from this or I'll just accept it for the rest of my life. Sometimes, it seems so hopeless.
It’s okay and don’t give up. If you know your skin type try and learn what works for it. And I recommend Skincarisma it tells you what a product does for you and if it works with your skin type.
i’m almost 16 and when i was younger i thought it’d be fun to experiment with skincare because of the influence of many beauty gurus. but after following the right people i realized i really don’t need a lot at least at this age and i’ve always had a normal skin type so for my fellow teens don’t push yourself to try out skincare unless recommended by a professional :)
Michelle...I need help.. Ik it sounds dumb..but can u pls tell me if I have to follow an am and pm skincare routine every day.. Also I never use make-up
@@lillycarol hmm so i'm assuming for now that you have i'd recommend keeping your routine at a minimum. in the am you can use a cleanser and moisturizer but i'd highly recommend wearing sunscreen too and make sure to reapply! the only difference is in the pm i don't recommend wearing sunscreen bc you don't need it and you can use the same cleanser (to wash off the sunscreen) and moisturizer as the am. cetaphil, cerave, la roche-posay and ofc krave beauty have great products. however if you see a derma who's given you any specific products, use those as well. hope that helps :)
This was EYE opening!!! Thank you so much for this! I'm in my preteen age and I always think about buying such expensive skincare products without even taking a glance at my skin. Once I look back at the products, I realize I don't need them that much. So thank you for sharing this information with me, because otherwise, I would've sacrificed my arm and leg just for those expensive products that could've or might have caused even more problems to my face.
Hey Liah, I live in the Philippines so it's very hot and humid. Since last year, I've noticed that I have small bumps all over my face (especially my cheeks and chin area). The bumps are very very small, you can't see them if you're like 1 meter away from me, but if you look closely, I have very many of them (I didn't have any skincare routine, I just wash my face with water). To solve this, I am currently using a mild hydration cleanser (Celeteque Dermoscience Hydration Facial Wash with Natural Moisturizing Factor) and a moisturizer ( iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizer). I've also tried applying Nature Republic's Aloe Vera gel and it seems like the bumps only increased in number (I think the aloe vera is "feeding" the bumps or something) so I stopped applying it on my face. I am very sad that this is the condition of my skin because I'm just 16 yo and my classmates have very smooth skin while I have very textured skin. Please help me 😞😭💔
I was just about to buy a bunch of the ordinary’s skin products before I watched this video, but now I’m just going to stick with gentle ingredients for now 🙃 Thank you for your wise words Liah!!!
I'm seriously so thankful for this video, if i haven't had watched it, i would've gone to continue to damage my skin. i started to feel a bit insecure about my skin, it was oily and i would have frequent breakouts and Malassezia (fungal acne.) If there was anything i could put on my skin, I wanted it. I recently got a serum from The Ordinary, thinking it would help my sebum production. I put it on and the next day my skin didn't turn out the way i expected it. I had two pimples on the side of my face and more Malassezia. I decided that if i just used it more, my skin would be better, so I used this for two more days. Spoiler alert, it didn't, but my insecurities made me believe that it just needed time, so i didn't stop using it. I also started to buy more products as well, and i was using a very extensive skin care routine, and following tips not suited for my skin. Now realizing that I'm still a teenager and that I should just moisturizer and cleanse and use natural products instead of damaging my skin any further, so now I'm going to make a small and light skincare routine that will be beneficial to me. :)
I’ve never seen a video like this, and honestly it’s really refreshing! I’m in my teens, and while I get occasional acne, I wear very little makeup and have never had bad skin. Despite it being fairly clear naturally, I’m constantly wondering if I need to buy a bunch of skincare products and start a routine besides my normal cleansing and acne wipes. In reality, I don’t need a bunch of products, I already have good skin, I’m just so used to the beauty gurus online insisting on it
Hi Liah! A quick question: would you say that this routine should change at all when you're in the late teen years, i.e. 18 or 19? Should any products be added or is it basically the same situation as the mid and early teen years?
Vertsea it depends on your skin let's say your using uhhhh a foam cleanser from ages 12 to 17 and it's working amazing for you until one day it stop working cause your akin is changing your face wash to suit your skin
In my opinion it depends because like let's there are girls one aged 9 and the other one aged 12, and both got their periods in the same year, so basically physically speaking they are the same "body age" which means the 12 yo, will in her teens normally 13-19 while the 9 yo will stop having a "teenage body/looks" at 16/17, hope you understood, well, I believe it just the depends how you are maturing.
I am 14 and really do need to do some skin care routines often bcoz some of the people surrounding me (especially the boys) kept teasing for my acnes and how i really look ugly with it. Though some of my friends says 'Just love yourself' or 'Accept yourself' i can't because every time i will do it some of them keep bringing me down :/ so thank you so much for this. 💜
My skincare routine? Coconut oil to remove makeup, raw honey to cleanse, sugar if I need to exfoliate (I usually don't), and a bit of nice face cream if I feel the need.
I watched this video at the time my skin was at its worst. I was using anti acne AND super drying stuff....my skin wasn't getting better. Then I watched this video when you said to focus on hydration I was skeptical but it worked. My skin became more clear and smooth. My skin was less red and sore(I don't really know how to explain it well.) THIS WORKS IT JUST TAKES TIME. For me it took about one to two months for my skin to be back to its child like state❤️✨💁🏼
I'm a teenager, is it alright if my skincare routine consists of these four products? -- Caudalie face wash thing Alcohol free witch hazel toner Caudalie serum Caudalie moisturizer
What I just do is wash my face with soap then use a cream that attacks spots and put it on the spots that are on my face. When it dries, I put moisturiser on my face which is oil free and helps to reduce spots and blemishes. Ever since I put those creams on my face, I’ve been noticing my face doesn’t have that much spots. There are still a couple, but it’s just a few.
What I currently do is Cleanse-gram flour Toner-neem water Moisturize-aloe Vera and vit E Sunscreen Everything is natural except sunscreen Is this healthy? I'm 17 btw
I had perfect skin until I reached the age of 22 when all of a sudden I started having breakouts on my skin like pimples and acne. I had no problem whatsoever with my skin when I was a teen so why was this happening now? I went to a dermatologist and she told me it was about my diet that changed over the last six months. I just graduated from collage found a job and moved out of my parents house. I started eating so unhealty I lost a lot of weight. I was underweight and sick. And than the acne happened. Now I am much better and changed my diet for the better.
Im 18 but over the past 2 years, I've learned not to trust whatever i see and what people suggest to me. I learned this the hard way when my dermatologist gave me a bunch of products that were wayyy too strong. Since then, Ive made sure to do research and properly care for my skin! also i absolutely love learning about skincare so its hard for me to stop when people say "you're too young". thank you for making videos like these, its very helpful and makes me feel better that i am not completely ruining my skin!!!
I'm 16 and when I wake up I use a face wipe, moisturize, then prime, then concealor and bronzer. Set it with a facial rose spray. At night I shower, take the rest off with a wipe every 2 or 3 days do a face mask depending what my skin looks like then moisturize. I don't have any pimples rn but discoloration on my cheeks from acne scars.
Yes it helps. First make sure that it suits you, because it is unsuitable for some people. For testing whether it is suitable or not you can apply it on a small area of your face and wash it off after 10-15 mins. If no irritation or itching occurs, then it suits you.! Then you can apply it on a daily basis. MAKE SURE YOU USE COMPLETELY NATURAL ALOE VERA (NOT THAT WHICH IS AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET) It soothes your skin, hydrates it, and fastens the healing process. I have been using it for 1 year or so. Thanks:)
@@whitecloudyyy5116 same problem with me, I am a teenager, my lifestyle is good( I eat healthy, I exercise daily) But still I get pimples. If you have oily skin, you can use fuller's earth. Mix it with water until it has a paste like appearance and apply it on your face. Wash it after 15-20 mins. You will get a glowing skin too. It is just amazing. In India, many people use it for washing their hair too😊
I just use thayers witch hazel toner, jeju aloe ice and sunscreen in the morning. During the night, i use the same toner and the same moisturizer. Sometimes I rub an ice cube on my face at night and seldom steam my face. I drink a lot of water and green tea. My only problem is that if my mens is near, an acne would appear which is naturally occuring. But if i consume a lot of dairy, i'll have a breakouts on my chin. Blackheads is my enemies until now.
Heyy love your videos💗 I have seen so many videos on skin care but your videos are more meaningful and kinda what my mom says. You and my mom say the same thing, " you are too young for all those fancy skin products " I am a teenager btw. I wanted to know whether we can apply the moisturizer all over the face or in specific areas only?
