@@MrSandMan961 my only guess is they REALLY wanted to lean into the "wistful nostalgia" stuff. It's weird because with stuff like the Steven Universe remake, the original is literally more energetic than the orchestral remix. The sound directors should've really aimed for a more fitting OST rather than just something that sounds good to fans.

@@birdflox1337 It's funny because the orchestral SU theme is probably the best song currently in the game but it's carried HEAVILY by the theme's original melody and SU specifically has way better songs for a fighting game even within it's own vacuum. Opal's theme literally sounds like a track from Tekken 3.

Said the same thing bro. They’re the most iconic version of them imo and no one (except little kids) want those Go! Titans. The Go! Titans are just parody versions of the 2003 ones made for kids.They can make 2003 the base Titans skins and for the kids that play this add the Go! ones for them. I’m sticking with default and other appearances that arent the Go! ones

@@darkarrow3683 I mean, they’re whole gimmick is “old people are grumpy to change” the concept isn’t terrible if they didn’t fail at every turn, because following up the 2003 incarnation is pretty tough. I don’t think anyone really liked Teen Titans Go beyond the first or second season.

@@CavinLee That’s true the concept could have worked if they didn’t put so much emphasis on the doo doo jokes and avoided doing any inappropriate ones too cuz there were some.

I say they do an composite version, like the rest of the DC characters. The main design is a fusion of their comic and animated versions, with most skins being from specific incarnations.(Yes, including GO. Liking or not, it's part of its history and it has its fans, so it deserves to be represented in some way. Plus ones from Titans, Young Justice, the DC animated movies, specific comic storylines, the upcoming new DC Cinematic Universe, etc. )

It might have something to do with the original theme being sung by Puffy Ami Yumi, a famous Japanese rock band. It’s possible that’s causing the rights behind the song to be a little complicated.

@@captaineli2461 While Puffy Ami Yumi may own the rights to the song, I feel like if WB was going to include Titans Tower as a stage, that's probably something they should have sorted out. If you can't acquire the licensing for the music, why not choose any of the other billion creative locations in WB's catalog? I feel like in a crossover platform fighter, representing the characters and location faithfully should probably take priority.

They can't get copyrighted, WB has the rights to Teen Titan stuff since they own it
