Teena Marie could play guitar🎸, piano🎹, conga🪘, write all her own music and lyrics…had a voice 🎤on her that could knock you out ❤️🔥. I saw her in concert (4 times) last one on August 22 2009 in San José CA🎊🎉🌟🔥She was da bomb💣🧨💥☄️🌟FO REAL‼️
Teena was Lady T. A magnificent singer with a great voice and command of the stage. Music is not about race but about ability, feeling and love. TM had all of that! GOD BLESS YOU!
When you can sound as good as the record or even better singing live..that's when you have true talent and can really sang..(not sing)..There will never be another

I can definitely say a lot of things about Tina Marie but one thing I definitely can say is Tina Marie was funky one of the greatest talents ever truly missed rest in peace super soul sister 🙏💔
A mega musician. Guitar, singing, songwriting and composing. Too much of a good tjing, and people wanted to much of her. Still she prevailed. RIP Ms Tina Marie.
Saw her in concert in Chicago at Washington Park. When I tell you that she was truly aaaaaamazing!!! That whole park was rocking. One of the best concerts I’ve ever went to. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Facts I saw her live 3 times and Lady T never disappointed her fans. When she sang Fire and Desire she sang her parts higher and longer than the actual recording
Did she bring that band with her, or was it a Summer Jam backing band for all the solo artists? Incredible either way. I love 8:17 when they just GO OFF and the bassist turns and smiles at her!
Most of them were her band. We opened for her years ago. Sweet person. She even signed my bass. Her bassist, Douglas Grisby was so nice and amazing bassist. Every chance we get, we do a Teena Marie tribute show.
She sounds amazing ....Now this is a funky, let's get down and jam to the music session,.....I'd would have been smoking a blunt and trippin with all of you,...
Lady T didn't play when it came to performing. No other white girl put that stank on it the way she did. No One.... Oh Teena, why didn't you tell room service to take that flimsy frame off the wall? I really wanted to meet you.
@@a.c.6475 Thank you for your reply! The song called "im a sucker for your love"! Released together with Rick james😂 I'm Japanese so I'm not going to reply in English😅 She is dead now, but she was healed by a lot of energetic singing voices. It was helpful❤
@@user-lj4oe6dn3y Interesting!...I lived in Sasebo for 3 years when I was young, this was back in early 70's, my father was stationed there (U.S. Navy) I went to E.J. King elementary, lots of fond memories of Japan!
