I just heard that the one and only Miz Teena Marie has died - 12/26/2010. I am saddened by her sudden passing. She had the voice of an angel, so surely she is singing in heaven with the angels now. Rest in sweet eternal peace, Lady T. Much respect and love; you are missed. ^j^ ^j^ ^j^
This lady has an incredible voice and style. I love Teena Marie's voice and yes I am loving this song! Go on, Teena, wid' yo baaaaad self!

When I see Teena do her thing, it makes me think that we can someday live in a colorblind world. I love this little lady. She's always 100% REAL. She brings it and delivers. She's one of a handful of white performers who can not only perform R&B as well as anybody out there, but she's so genuine and comfortable doing it. Love that little lady!!!

The world lost another treasure with Teena's passing. A voice so silky smooth and clear as a bell. This song sends shivers up and down my spine. I can guess the Heavenly Choir is singing " Lady Tee is in the house" We'll miss you.

You dont go to the Apollo theater and lip sync!!! Your ass will be bood off the stage!!! This was one of the most important singers of our time and she did not get the respect or recognition that she so deserved from the music industry. Lets just consider ourselves so damn lucky that we were able to witness and were very fortunate to enjoy her while she walked this earth.

My mom woke me up out of my sleep this mornin, 2 tell me that my idol had passed...and at 1st i didn't believe her. I'm like "Wat? Watever, that can't happen. Teena Marie is immortal!" kinda like the same thing i sed wit Michael Jackson. I cryed wen i got up n saw it on aol.... R.I.P. Lady T, I'm sure u n Rick r a match made in heaven :(

Seeing this Video by Teena Marie made me fully realise just how amazing she is as an Artist, & Producer. So many had said before that she sings R&B, but I did not realise it because I did not listen to much of her Music. She (like Jon B.) had that Soul in their Music, which was due to their upbringing around real Soul And R&B Artists, & Groups. She certainly has my full respect. R.I.P.
