@@uriahcrawford3852they rly overdid that, and the constant use of Gen Z terminology, though relevant now, is gna be outdated within a year. So the timeless aspect is instantly gone. Speaking as a Gen Z myself here
That’s what’s I’m talking about felt like Donnie was way more funny then Mikey. Miss the ADHD Mikey felt like he wasn’t that funny compared to the others.
Just got out and first impression was that it was awesome. I’m 35, and have been a fan since getting my butt kicked by that first annoying nes game, before the much better arcade beat ‘em up came to snes. Trent Reznor did a great job with the music, soundtrack is incredible for golden era hip hop heads, and the storyline was fun enough for my gf who had absolutely no interest in this at all. In fact she liked it more than me. Highly recommended for those of us that thought we’ve grown out of it, and for those that have no experience, but love absurdity and sharp writing.
Really should have described them each more appropriately. Leo is the leader of the team, Donny does machines, Mikey is a party dude and Raph is cool, but rude.
@@cameronmcewen9666 no it didn’t it like it was original story of them growing up to become the team that we know and love and they even become they’re characters in rise of the Tmnt movie
@@cameronmcewen9666 *gasp* A reboot of a 28 year old franchise made changes to the characters who have appeared in 5 shows, 9 movies, and a ton of comics and other franchise tie-ins?!? *BLASPHEMY*
I"m so excited for this. The use of Tribe Called Quest in the marketing is a total stoke of genius and the whole thing just looks super fun. Can't wait to be a kid again for 90 min.
Worst representation of splinter that has ever been done, that’s the biggest thing keeping me from seeing this movie, but honestly every character just feels off. They need to quit trying to reinvent characters, they almost always end up making them way worse.
what about asian april or alien april? or mixed april? why white april specifically? there have been many different versions of this character over the last 30 years mate.
Pros: phenomenal voice acting gorgeous visuals excellent, exciting action sequences an absolutely electric and captivating soundtrack. Cons: uses some slightly overdone superhero tropes
Still trying to figure out why they not only changed April and Splinter, but also the Turtles' personalities... and very strange choice to have Donatello voiced by a 6 year old...
At least this film redeemed itself of the other failed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie adaptations, except for the ROTMNT Netflix Feature & Batman Film.
That’s what’s confusing me, they’re all the same age surely, quadruplets surely? No wonder Leo has struggles being the “leader” imagine being a twin deciding they were the leader out if the two 😂
There are two types of TMNT fans. Those who and swear die by the 80s/90s stuff yet hate any new iteration, and those who love everything about TMNT that accepts flaws of every iteration including the originals.
Imagine if they did a movie series and they did the last Ronin as the last one just outta nowhere where the rest were all goofy that one is the most brutal TMNT just cuz
The animation is the best thing going for this movie. But the story and casting is about a 5 at best. Worst Mikey I’ve seen yet. Not the kids fault though. Should have been a different character.
