HK is in a state of emergency due to the new coronavirus amongst other things. please stay healthy & always be safe Arroz. thanks for looking after our primate friends even with this dark cloud hanging over. Im sure they appreciate you as much as we all do. TC of yourself & your family.
How cute and tiny. All the babies are so cute and precious. Her little eyes are the biggest thing about her.And looks at all her surrounding.I hope she gets better soon and Mom can produce more milk to help her grow.
i think you hit the nail on the head, she really is compensating by grooming her so much. perhaps its her way of assuaging her nurturing instinct, since she's really missing out on that special bonding that happens when baby is nursing successfully while looking up into mom's eyes. if baby makes it, the two may have just as strong a bond after all. smart monkeys.
Only with proper food will her milk build up and Teeny also needs food to grow. She needs to learn, chew ,swallow not the the ingrained natural way of putting it in pouch.
As much as I disagree with the sterilization program, Tina and Gypsy would benefit being sterilized. Gypsy choosing not to be the best mother and Tina through no fault of her own cannot provide enough milk to sustain her babies! Mother Nature can be cruel at times😥
Tina's physical condition looks good really well. Her stomach is not thin at the waist, can't see ribs. Doesn't look anything like Skinny for instance. I so appreciate you trying to get her food though as whatever milk Teeny is allowed surely needs all the nutrition she can get. I remember her shoving Tibbin's head hard onto the ground. He didn't have the strength to protest but Teeny gets herself back up each time and is trying to forage. I'm grateful to see this. Hopefully they continue and add up to her survival.
Good lord this is the sweetest little angel baby. These monkeys are so much better behaved than the long tail maques from the other channels. I can’t stand them lol.
I feel for tina she is always ready to make a run for it never any relazing for her at any second it could be time for a beating and by anyone in the troop when your on bottom of the list poor thing what a crap life
I would think the females are related in some way in a group, because the girls don't leave a group. Only the king changes threw death or a fight for power.
Tina loves Teeny, as well as her other children. They start small but do catch up. I believe Teeny's situation is still better than Kailey's. Arroz, I love your videos!
I have a question I noticed Teeny’s fingers haven’t straightened out yet will they eventually do that? I appreciate your videos and the investigative videos too, thank you 😊
Have you seen teeny suckling normally¿it’s just pacifier skim milk bar ......she gained weight based on her sheer determination to search every bits food crumbs on ground, not from Tina nursing.
OMG! The things that come out of my grandsons mouth. He sees me watching this and asks me Pappy is that the little baby girl monkey we watched about a month ago? Me, Yup. Him, " Pappy I hate to say this but she looks like a poster child for Feed the Children or be on a UNICEF poster." The things that 10 year Pup says suprises me time and again! He still says she's the cutest one out of all except maybe Kailey...
I'm just wondering here, or just thinking, could Tina be diabetic, that would explain why Tiny and Teeny don't grow until they start foraging, just thinking out loud, no one will probably even read this anyway
I don’t think Teeny’s size is due to a lack of milk. She doesn’t look as thin as Kailey. And if it were a lack of milk, she would have more teeth like others her age. Teeth coming in doesn’t have anything to do with nutrition. It must be some sydrome. Teeny’s coordination and movement appear normal for age too. Another good sign.
Either Tina is not producing enough milk, the milk is lacking in the required amount of fat, or a combination of both. If Teeny can chew then giving her a high fat food would be extremely beneficial.
None of her babies ever have any joy in them. They never run around and play but it's no wonder with her as a mother shes horrible. Shes the only mother I've ever seen that actually takes food out of their mouths. Just because a monkey is on the bottom of the hierarchy does not mean they cant be good mothers.
She's not a horrible mother she just can't produce milk as redily as the other monkey mom's but she very attentive and nurses as much as she can, maybe your thinking of gypsy
I really think Tina is doing the best she can as a mother to both tiny and teeny, I always route for the under dog, many thought tiny would not make it but due to Tina being a good mom he seems to be doing just fine. Hopefully teeny will be just fine as well , we can only pray that she does
Arroz, Are Teeny’s fingers ok? They look a little curled throughout the video. As if she can’t open her hands fully. Does anyone else see it or am I imagining things?
Arroz can you attach an external mic to your camera? If so. It would help reduce some of the wind noises. Great video as usual. Hope teeny makes it. She’s adorable cute
Has Teeny survived longer than Tina’s last baby? Teeny seems to be lagging considerably in gross motor skills and I can’t help but question how well she’s going to do.
Tibbin was born around the middle of July and died about three months later in the middle of October. I don't know exact date this was filmed but if it follows Arroz Mariscos timeline it should be late December or maybe into this year. I almost forgot, Teeny was born early August😊. 🤓🏴☠️🇸🇪
A lot of it goes to how much mom eats. As she is at the bottom of the food chain she primarily gets the leftovers from the higher ups. If she is starving she won't produce milk so baby won't feed. Nature is unkind.
@@frenchbeauties5140 sorry i wasn't more clear in my question... i meant why do some mothers let their babies nurse more than others regardless of how much milk they are producing??? I nursed my children so I'm very familiar on how it works just can't understand why some mom don't when it's obviously has milk supply and food???
@@catg.9034 Unfortunately some moms just aren't motherly. Take Gypsy for instance, she has never been a great mom to her babies. Only letting them nurse for a little time then leaving them to be buy themselves and cry for her. And others like Reddy let them nurse as much and for as long as they want. I often wonder if this behavior is learned from their own mothers and that is why they do it. Or maybe its just cause they don't care. Tina is kind of the exception in my mind as she is at the bottom of the hierarchy. She is the last one to get food and most times it is scraps left from the higher ups. She really needs a great diet in order to produce enough milk for her babies. But she got Tiny through the lean times and he learned to forage earlier than most babies. I think she seems harsh but in nature it is always the mom that is more important as she can have another baby but if she dies the baby will certainly die. So it would be tragic if both die from starvation. I have watch so many monkeys vids over the years and there are tragedy and happiness in all of them. I'm sure Tina loves her baby but she only has so much to give or she will be in jeopardy. Monkey life is not fair but nature is never fair.
