Everything about Teeny is so delicate and undersized, except for those big expressive eyes. She may be slow, but she certainly seems alert and curious about her surroundings. I'm such a sucker for these teacup babies! Happy new year, Arroz! We're all still praying for a good outcome in Hong Kong.
I am a sucker too lol it’s heart breaking to see how tiny she is knowing she clearly didn’t get enough food. Two months old and her teeth have yet to make an appearance...🥺🥺🥺 Now she is seven months old and still tiny. It’s a shame that they are not better fed by humans. They clearly need food. Yes I was thinking of Heidi. She had curled fingers and toes. Mom took her food to. The Vo's interfered to much with them . Hope this baby gets proper food, even needs milk. Heidi had gone to long , never being treated properly by people. She died. I'm afraid. This will happen to Teeny. She has no way of getting help.

I wouldn't doubt if teeny is starving Tina is always stealing the food out of her mouth. I love tiny and I love teeny but I really don't like Tina at all I don't like it's the mother's feeling their babies food especially teeny she needs all the food she could get

Mom takes the food but in turn, also feeds Teeny the bits she takes can't honestly go far sadly we see how they find scraps in the road it’s heartbreaking to see Tina stand down when food is handed out knowing she is starving and her baby is starving. 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
I like the name Trina for the older daughter too. Teeny is showing signs of malnutrition. Curled fingers and toes, hair looks unhealthy and dull look from her eyes is what I see.😢💕
It's amazing going back to look at our babies. It's a miracle Teeny was born with the will to live and made it. She is all skin and bones. You can see every single string of muscle in her tiny arms.
Arroz, As much as you want to help Tina , you did make the right decision. My heart went out for Teeny & Tina they both needed a sweet potato to the best possible vitamins for both to share. No teeth for Teeny yet, differently not enough milk/calcium factor.
So true. And it's almost a catch 22 mom eats but anything she eats goes straight out of her into Teeny. But it’s definitely not notorious or sufficient for either.
Having no teeth at two months old would make a big difference at how long her time at the milk bar would be. And seeing that Tina doesn't deny her at all would suggest the problem is with what she is or isn't getting at the milk bar.
Mom is definitely not getting enough calories for herself nursing and feeding Teeny.... And poor teeny is getting water there can’t be any nutrition in her water-milk when she is not getting enough calories to sustain herself.
Thank you Arroz for photographing and videoing these these interesting and beautiful creatures like you do. I can tell that you must really care about their wellbeing because you aren't always chasing them or staging "accidents" just to get the views or likes. I had family members whose kids failed to thrive due to milk protein allergies. I wonder if that could have been the case with Teeny? She always seemed to prefer to forage rather than nurse, which I assumed was due to Tina not having enough milk. Maybe the milk made her feel badly.
Did you notice that teeny hands and feet are still curled all the time like you said she might not be getting enough nutrition. Hope she will make it thru the winter. Thanks for the update on them😁👍🐒
I am watching Teeny’s story backward lol sadly I already know how this story ends. Tenny’s growth was definitely stunted by a lack of proper nutrition. Just think how much worse it could have been had sweet kind-hearted Arzoo (I know I spelled that wrong lol) not fed them as often as possible.
Aunt being Tina's daughter makes sense. She was attempting to remove beans from Tiny's pouches in the same way Tina did. Learned behavior from Mom. I think Teeny is allowed to hold the nipple in mouth but not nurse whenever she wants. Like Tibbin. Tina and her adult daughter look very healthy. I'm still holding my breathe and crossing my fingers. Teeny's appearance, energy and delays are concerning but not surprising. I'm hoping she will find interest in Tiny when and if she does get energy, She's got the guy with best foraging skills in all of Hong Kong right there. A positive for this very precious little girl. 🌸

If this was a crazy Cambodia LTM channel, all of the uninformed commenters would whine to the VO's to "save" Teeny, aka send her to a fake NGO, pester WLA about her, or god forbid giver her a milk box. Life is tough at the bottom, but it's as nature intended.
I like the name Trina many have mentioned for her oldest daughter. Teeny is so cute but there is definitely something that doesn’t appear right. Her eyes look like someone that has Graves Disease. She also doesn’t have much energy. I don’t agree with the poster that continues to say that Tina is starving her babies on purpose but being lowest on the rung and not always having access to the food some of the higher ranking ones doesn’t help with her milk supply and even worse if she has trouble producing milk. When she lifts up to get her to stop feeding it is my understanding that when a mother doesn’t have any milk it is painful to have a baby suckle.
She had such strength after birth. She's malnourished now just as her brother was but not as severe, yet. Tina steals their food if they get a morsel & she's hungry. Her brother would've passed if you hadn't helped him. I hope she makes it through the winter. She truly shouldn't have anymore but nature will take its course.
Arroz- I truly believe that if Tina doesn’t get enough food to eat then she can’t produce enough milk for Teeny. It could be that that’s one reason it’s a slow go with teeny
Tina, Teeny and Tiny, I really love this trio unfortunately Tine is just a victim of low ranking could not lactate enough milk for her babies but definitely she is a very loving caring mother .
I've always felt that if you can walk up to your Mum and demand milk- and get pissed when she says 'no'... you're too big to be nursing (i.e. Ash)! (Heh, heh-- I didn't take my own advice with my own yearling, though) ;) Anyhow, such a great story you tell, Arroz. I love going back and looking at your "archives." You have such a wonderful collection of stories here. Teeny was foraging even back then... eating rocks and dirt, poor soul. You really helped keep her alive to the Yearling she is today. Your stories are just wonderful, as is your spirit.

Teeny is so cute. I wonder if there is something more than low quality/quantity milk causing her stunted growth. I understand that Teeny is small for her age, but she also seems to have a little bit of a different physical appearance, facially speaking, to me. I know fat distribution, or her case lack thereof, can create part of that. But could some genetic/medical issues also create a different facial profile?
She does seem to have something wrong. I heard the narrator mention her teeth have yet to make an appearance...... That’s definitely a sign of something being wrong. Mom's milk is not nutritious based on her slim diet. It’s sad to see there is little available food for them to self-access. I’ve watched older footage of wildlife monkeys filmed in the jungle by scientists, the one advantage is they have access to food, fruit and vegetables. Something they are supposed to have included in their diets. Little ones are taught early on how to pick fruit and edible plants and flowers. You don't see the ’hierarchy’ food wars because there is more than enough to go around. The higher-ranking animals do have the first pick of available food but there is more than enough to go around when man doesn't have to hand it out. It makes a big difference. I’m sure if the city wasn't so close to their home they would probably have access to wild-growing fruit and vegetables it would make finding food much easier.

1:31 she's looking right at the camera, totally aware that she's being watched. they're so much more intelligent than they get credit for, and seem to be fully aware by just a couple of weeks old. they deserve so much better than what humans do to them.
Tina is feeding her on demand which is good. Teenies color isn't very good, her ears aren't pink and she's definitely low energy. Precious little baby I hope she does okay. :')

Tina' health has never been good and it is amazing she can carry babies to term. Tiny was so little and would not have made it had it not been for his own drive to survive. As we know, Tibben didn't survive. I am glad to see that while Teeny is very small and has obvious developmental delays, she is at least trying to walk and climb. Tibben never showed the ability to do even that much. I don't know about the quality of Tina's milk but I don't think she is producing a lot of milk. Teeny never nurses for long, although she might off camera but it appears that milk runs out quite quickly. Not having teeth yet means that there isn't much if anything she can forage that will help her situation. She appears to be a little dehydrated or suffers from proptosis. Her eyes seem like they are bulging slightly. I don't think she looks much like Tiny when he was a baby but others may find that she does. I am grateful everyday that Tiny survived. When he was little I lived from one week to the next hoping he would still be alive when next you visited Monkey Hill.
She’s definitely not as high strung as sparky thank goodness and she seems to be getting milk so maybe after awhile she will have a growth spurt and gain some weight.. she’s a pretty baby.. and btw I love all ur videos

Beautiful family video. Lovely. Perhaps, if Tiny also was late developing teeth, that might explain his smaller stature when young? We know from research on rhesus that mums nurse female infants more than male infants (generally) due to the difference in the amount of protein and carb mixed in mum’s milk when nursing males and females. It does make it look as though the mums care more for the girls. We also know from research on rhesus that mums expend more energy when raising females. I wonder if the difference in Teeny’s energy level is in part due to rank. Lower ranking kids seem to stay closer to mums than higher ranking kids. Teeny looks a bit younger than her age but she certainly is no where near as thin as Kailey. Not does Tina look thin.
blue eagle Don’t worry... she didn’t "kill off" Tibben. (Hokey Poky is a hater). It’s because Tina is so very low ranking, that she just doesn’t have enough sustenance herself, to be able to provide nutritional milk for her babies. She does her best, though. She is a loving & caring mum. xoxo
Yes there is something wrong with her, she is skinny, doesn’t eat, not growing why? Her mother is not feeding her and any food that poor baby does get for herself her mother takes it from her. No one will grow like that. Tina should be spayed. She is not a good mother at all. I’m starting to think she is having baby’s to feed herself. They go try to feed themselves and she takes it. You can’t feed them and then u take what they can find. That poor baby is starving alive. That’s why I think tiny isn’t around he can’t stand being around her. I hope she makes it

Arroz - I guess we can be harsh with Tina the mom that in the beginning didn't seem to want to feed her baby Teeny. However, perhaps she just can't make enough milk. I just wish there was a way to feed Teeny?
What in the hell is going on with all these monkeys dying now Popeyes dead something's got to give here it's not normal for all these monkeys to be dying like this their survival rate is way way higher than it is on these channels please investigate this cuz I am very very concerned and if there's anything I can do please let me know
Are monkeys afflicted with the things that plague humans? Mental retardation, downs syndrome, physical abnormalities? Teeny just seems so different than the other babies though as adorable as she is. Tina appears to be doing the best she can all things considered.
@@candacernelson5074 I found two twin infants chimps with downs. About 7 of videos on RU-vid of them if you search "chimpanzee with downs syndrome". There's not a lot of info on them but you can clearly see something is wrong (can't walk). There are many articles about a 24-yo chimp with downs (blind), still living. I even found a picture of an orangutan with downs, but that was just on Pinterest. All of them were in captivity. The 24 yo's mother refused to care for it and it was hand raised by humans. I think it's pretty safe to say that they would never survive in the wild as they would likely be abandoned by their moms after showing significant delays.

These Monkeys are not fed tons of fatty foods like the Macaque's are at Angkor. This group is very highly Hierarchy driven and the lower ranking ones clearly have trouble obtaining enough food to barely survive.
The starving monkey heard the same monkey that made her mom take the blame for eating sweet potato. Also the same one that screamed at her for walking to near the camera man. LOL the starving bb monkey remembers so well.
Brandy777 I think so because if you saw the videos of Tiny when he was a baby he was so short and just tiny for the longest time but he finally caught up to the others his age once he was foraging for awhile. He was the cutest little guy out there foraging while the other babies were still mostly getting milk but it was sad too because he had to take care of himself at a young age. I wonder if Teeny has the ability to do as Tiny did. If you haven’t seen the videos of Tiny you can find them up above under Playlist then scroll down quite a ways and you will see babies and there will be a Tiny list. Sometimes I cried for him and other times I just rooted for him.
