Trying something new... Comment on this video to enter a competition 🎁 I'm giving away a month subscription to any of the services in the description. You choose and I'll buy you it. That's either PlaceIt, Canva, MerchInformer, or TubeBuddy. I'll choose a winner at random in 1 week and reply to your comment to let you know. Cheers!
Hmm which one is the most invaluable though probably Merch informer I'm already subscribed to placit, but Amazon is kinda intimidating love to master that ;-)
@@vanissaberg5824 Yes, I thought so too! Just make sure you do a stand-alone comment if you want to be entered as I think the TubeBuddy comment picker which I'll be using only picks individual ones rather than replies. Cheers!
Uhm, u forgot to add, that teepublic deletes shops, BUT KEEPS SELLING TGE DESIGNS. Creators still get emails about the sales tgey make, but their account is 'terminated'. Please, look into this issue. Abusing creators like this is disgusting.
OMG I literally just posted a comment saying I was afraid of this. I will be getting a lawyer if that’s the case. That work is MINE. I am a real artist spending hours on my work. Thank you for telling us this... now I’m really scared
Great video. Thanks for all the Informations i was looking for almost 2weeks. Thank youu and wish u very luck and succes and of course to everyone who is reading this comment. Hope im the one who will win✌
Hi,I did exactly what u said about seeing the artwork in searching page ,but nothing happened ,after while I get a sell , but my artwork Stoll not showing
Before, I used to be able to type stuff like "Spider-Man Logo" and it would give a tons of cool Spider Logos options, but now everything not giving exactly what I type.
@@houssemcharif5526 I don't have a narrow niche, I do kawaii (that was my first sale on TeePublic), Greece, sarcasm, yoga, books, acting - my hobbies basically ;-)
After I uploaded 20 designs I got a message back from Teepublic where they told me, "We appreciate how much work goes into each design, and we thank you! While TeePublic is an open platform where anyone can host and sell from their own storefront, our site's discovery tools is more curated. Due to legal or creative reasons, your designs will not show up in search or on the "new" or "browse" areas of the site." And I'm like, WTF? All my designs are original art or photographs taken by me. I sent my first request to support instead of community, and I just contacted community. There isn't any reason not to include my designs. Some are simple but all are tasteful and professionally done. Has anyone ever heard of this before from Teepublic?
They did exactly the same to me. I think it depends where country are you from. I was accepted by Merch by Amazon but rejected by them. Teepublic isn't worthy there are a lot of POD platforms where you can make more sales than there.
@@analialecumberri3695 I’m from the United States, there isn’t any reason for them to do this. If I would have knows this, I wouldn’t have wasted my time with teepublic.
@@MysticHeather it’s pretty frustrating no doubt. They told me I could still use it as a storefront, but at their ridiculously low margins there isn’t any point.
Teepublic is being a real Richard about this. They won't let me into the search engine. I've contacted them twice now that I have 20 designs up and all they tell me about the search engine is, "our creative team likes to reserve it for more original works as opposed to vector art." Meanwhile there are tens of thousands of text only based designs up. What the hell?!?!?!?
Teepublic straight up deleted my account the day after I opened it. They said I violated a policy but haven’t and they have refused to communicate with me on it. I just want to know why they chose to delete my account when everything was MY work and good vibes based
Hi, what is the minimum to get paid from teepublic? My designs don't showing in search results, but I made 2 sales in the first month!! There something crazy with that company
@@azswef5536 I use canva free. I've heard you can't use the pro graphics or fonts in the pro version to sell on t-shirts. Only one free ones have a free for commercial use license. Then to remove the background I use a separate app.
I just got a personal email invitation from teepublic saying they saw one of my illustrations and asked me to join as a artist. I guess this is a good sign =)
That's just bots sending you random invites. I join 3 days ago. then 2 days later, I got an email saying my account was closed due to violation. I never violated any terms, all my ideas. I only had 2 designs up. Since then no one has responded as to why that happened. So far it's a pretty garbage website.
@@tubesurfer007 that's exactly what happened to me after posting this comment 🤦 but they put my account back on but the designs I uploaded are gone , so I just wasted my time 😔
@@lorrainec4270 I have heard it's due to being too many people trying to sell now. The internet seems flooded with everyone with a computer now, trying to sell something.
The thing with TeePublic is they have SO many sales that most of my T-shirt profits end up being only $2.00 a shirt. But I love how fast uploading is but which some of the products had more ability to tweak your image. Also would be nice to be able to upload another version of your work to look better on each product.
Yeah they do have rather a lot of sales - annoying, but also brings the customers in I suppose. As you say, their upload process is so fast that you might as well use the same work and get the extra $2 every sale that you wouldn't have got otherwise.
Do you know if Teepublic allows different graphics for different colours. If I have a blue pug image for lighter blue t-shirt and perhaps the same image in red for a pink t-shirt, as an example?
They trick you into being an 'artist' which is when you get paid but they trap you in an "apprentice" category where you are invisible and get pennies on the dollar of what you would make as an artist. I sold 12 items before I made any money ($6.25 total). I'll see if it pays off or is just a scam for newbies like me.
Thanks for the video! Though I had all the prerequisites mentioned in your video, I applied several times and got the same automatic response, blaming some algorithm.
WARNING teepublic will delete your account with no warning and for no reason. I made my teepublic, spent 7hrs uploading, editing, writing titles descriptions tags and I woke up the next day to an email that said I had violated some policy. Well I have read them backwards and forwards and have not violated any rule or policy. My designs were all my own, all positivity, country and bluegrass music based. There was no IP violations, nothing mean or negative on my products. They have an email that you can TRY to use to contact them if you have questions about why you’re account is deleted. I’ve emailed them countless times to no response, at this point I don’t want anything to do with this company, I just want to know what their reason is. So spend your time on this website at your own risk
I started my POD journey back in July and I'm on Teespring and Redbubble and I like to think that I'm doing all the right things: niche research, creating cool non-copywrited designs and doing all the necessary admin and marketing (tagging, Insta etc) but have yet to see a single sale across any of my stores. It's very dishearting tbh; specially when others hit their first sales in the first few days/weeks. Any advice other than the mirror trick (which I'm trying just in case lol)? Thanks for your videos and tips: I'm always learning and improving my game :)
Teepublic is a horrible service. After spending a ton of time uploading my original designs and then having them delete my account due to violation of terms and conditions. No explanation of why
You're welcome Arranyak. Good news as well - you are the winner of the competition! Your comment was selected at random out of everyone. Please email me and we can arrange the prize 😬 you can find my details at the bottom of this page: ru-vid.comabout
I get more sales on TeePublic than I do on Redbubble, I like the ease of TeePublic, as I run a design studio I only produce designs in the evenings etc....
Thanks for the video :) What if I upload same design to TP and RB, but the account owners are two different people?(since both companies owned by same people) can they detect it and cause suspension of both accounts? (Thing is my TP accounts got suspended at the opening, but somehow my Moms account is working fine and the designs are searchable). I have no idea whether it's okay or not to upload my RB designs to my Moms TP account :( Pls advice.
They operate seperately so I would think that it wouldn't be flagged up. Of course, they could find out the information if they wanted to, but I doubt it would cross reference automatically. Only guessing though so take this advice with a pinch of salt!
M'y first account in teepublic was suspended ( i think because i didn't upload a banner), when i realised that i open an other account and did all the steps that you mentioned and upload 7 designs, few jours after they suspend it too -.- I was sur that any of the 7 designs that i uploaded was a copyright or tradmark. So the question, do we have to upload all the 20 design they tell right after creating the account? And i hope to be th winner of the giveaway😂😉
I honestly think these kinds of “rules” are a bunch of bull. I’ve read over their policies and haven’t seen anything mentioning the need to upload ALL THAT at once. It takes hours and hours just to upload six or seven products. I mean maybe it takes me longer than average bc I’m autistic but it seems insane to hold ANYONE to uploading 20 designs and a banner in one day. Who do they think they are?!
@@MysticHeather just ti update my comment I followed this method and i was banned😂 It's not because of copyright and tradmark ( i was very carful) It was good for a week and then i stopped uploading for a week, after that i tried to login but i found my account de-activated. Ps: it may be for the innactivity I've had for a week. And to sum up don't focus on teepublic.
I have designs uploaded so far and all my info filled, a store banner and everything required, but my designs aren't being listed on the marketplace when I search for them using the tags I used on them.
They told me that I am not showing up in the search is because my designs are not unique. In other words. I have been using vexels t shirt maker. Apparently, someone else used the same image. They value original artists.
Yup - gotta create it yourself or outsource it rather than using templates for TeePublic. Shame as many of the template sites are on point right now and really help people get designs made.
This is why I love watching multiple RU-vidrs. You mmentioned the info about why designs were not showing up in search BUT there's something you didn't mention someone else did that makes practical sense for such a platform that is controlling their market.
Alright... Can anyone please help me out ? I created a account/profile, uploaded a design with only subtle hints to some franchise and about a day (an entire day !?) later they promptly disabled/removed my account ... They instantly disabled/removed my account, without warning, without even giving me the exact specific reason as to why account/profile got so promptly disabled/removed... This also while on their site I've already seen loads and loads of designs that blatantly use elements from a myriad of franchises directly... Can anyone please help me out ? Much thanks Beforehand!
I uploaded a few designs there (less than 20) that I already had on Redbubble and surprisingly I had sales pretty quickly. The profit margin is much less but I think uploading 20% of your designs there does not hurt. Also, I always take care of the description so at least I appear in Google SEO, I’m pretty sure that’s how people found me.
Hello Passive Owl. Really a big fan of you. I get best information and true motivation from your channel. Please help with couple of queries on Teepublic. 1. They rejected my request to appear in search results with a reply "First off, thank you for uploading to TeePublic. We appreciate how much work goes into each design, and we thank you! While TeePublic is an open platform where anyone can host and sell from their own storefront, our site's discovery tools is more curated. Due to legal or creative reasons, your designs will not show up in search or on the "new" or "browse" areas of the site." Please suggest what could be done. 2. Could you please also check the Teepublic referral/affiliate method, and let us know briefly on that.
Cheers! That's quite a vague response from TeePublic - either you used something that goes against their copyright policy, or they just don't like your work for some reason. There's not really much you can do about that other than try other sites, improve, and ask TP to review your work later. What do you mean about the referral/affiliate method? Are you referring to their affilaite scheme?
@@Gwmbul45 watch Passive Owl, Lisa Irby and some others. Having said that I think some others make more from their youtube channel and aren't worth watching. I said I make a lot more from Redbubble than Teepublic...but I don't make a lot of money. Print on demand is not a get rich quick scheme regardless of what is said by the RU-vidrs. Its a lot of work for little reward. The few strike it rich.
@@asireart5170 I've been about a year on Redbubble and spent 100s of hours on it with over 400 designs and made $240 in a year. People like Owl sell hope and affiliate links and youtube money. Very few people make any decent money. It can be a waste of time and it is for most people. I'm also on Teepublic and made less but with less designs.
@@domgdesign299 but why you don't try other platforms too? I'm sorry to say this but 400 designs are not enough. I've seen many who had thousands and started to have consistent sales. Maybe not tooo much but still something valuable.
I have only uploaded a profile picture. No banner, no social media link... And I got 20 sales since July... Is my content fully visible already, or if I completely fill my profile, there will be more reach from the searches?? It would definitely help an answer to that...
Sounds like it's already fully searchable. It should help your chances of getting featured to have a banner and social links though. I've never seen them feature anyone without it.
What about the number of results after a search?... I have not been able to find if there is a number after the search, just like redbubble, that shows the results...
@@bdfwhhsb No I didn't, Teepublic deleted 2 or 3 of my accounts (Every time they delete an account I make another one)! They use aggressive filter to check the design when uploading it I guess. When I upload a design, they delete my account because I violated their rules! I tried to contact them maybe 2 times to know what rules I have violated but no response. The designs I uploaded is from me and I can put some elements that are free to use for commercial use. They just delete my account without explanation. SO I left Teepublic and finally left Print on Demand without making any sales. But I'm not saying you should quit too. Don't be like me and Be patient. Good Luck
OMG, I am laughing out loud with the comment: ...'Saying Teepublic 3 times before going to bed'. Thank you a lot for clearing all that out and I agree, the Internet is a crazy place for lots of misconceptions about, well everything. :D :D Still laughing :D
Great Tutorial Video., I am using canvas to design my T-Shirts, I cant make the size 5000*5500, can you tell me about any recommendations or suggestions?
I made a unique design for the partner program, followed all the rules, and the trademark owner denied it. It was much better than most the designs up there. I was pissed. Not wasting my time on that anymore.
I signed up n managed to upload a few designs originally made by me without any copyright infringement. 2 days after that, they shut my account and didnt reply to my email. Wtf
Hi I have 30 design but not showing on search then Indian send a email to him and they send me mail back and says Due to creative reasons, your designs will not show up in search or on the "new" or "browse" areas of the site..so what should I do please help.
Hy guys, I have a problem with teepublic. Sometimes when I upload multiple desgins at once I get a Javascript crash, I dont know what it is exactly. With this problem teepublic count these designs in the daily 50 ,but they not actually uploaded. Is there a solution for this? Edit: I use the newest Chrome version and java is enabled.
I guess it's 75 products counting the different style of shirt (V-necks, ringers...) for male, female, kids, toodlers, babies etc. + the different sizes + the different style of stickers and magnets, the two coffee mugs and masks etc.

I started 2 months ago. And upload about 15 designs and then i notice my designs aren't showing up. I thought they are like teespring, so i quite.. i think now it's time to login and upload few more and asl for a review. Let's see what happens btw i'm doing optical illusions art, is that okay with teepublice creative policy
Hi , is there anyTrademark checking site for teepublic? which is best social site for marketing of teepublic? still i do not have any sales approximately 70 + design uplodaed till date.
Not that I'm aware of specifically for TeePublic. Best social site for marketing - good question... really depends on the niche and your audience since what site they use will vary. FB/Insta are usually the go-to's. As for your sales, make sure you're in search for a start!
I just think teepublic is awesome and I wanted to see a video on them. There is no possible way I'll ever buy another tshirt anywhere else... Not true, but this will be 90 percent of my tshirt purchases. teepublic. You rock.
