Fun fact, the miswak is from a tree and was in fact the first concept of a toothbrush from the muslims in arabia. Haha it tastes disgusting at first but the benefits of using it are amazing!
I get the idea that it has good benefits but I’d only use it because it looks more environmentally friendly but they had so much plastic in that kit that it defeats the only reason most people would switch
@@Raywayray1219 muslims mainly use it because it has so many benefits, people tend to use it for the spiritual benefits it gives and health benefits rather than the environmental benefits, but compared to a normal toothbrush there is less plastic packaging than what the bristles would have
sara wait that’s awesome that we have the same name and I was mostly thinking in the context of in the US where a lot of people are trying to be more environmentally friendly and I have no clue where I would buy that so lots like she used would be the only option and it looked like more plastic then just buying a bamboo toothbrush
@@Raywayray1219 yeah for environmental reasons a bamboo brush is good but the miswaak is too and it is also natural and u can keep shaving it down so it is kore cost efficient
I think the trick to using miswak is the preparation process. Leave the cut tip in shallow water for like 10 minutes then bite and leave it out to dry. It makes that musty smell go away somewhat.
Generally in rural India people use neem sticks They bite it for a a few minutes nd spit it out, it is very bitter nd needs some getting used to, I started using it a while ago nd once u get used to it, it's eco friendly, much refreshing and u don't need any toothpaste

The second product "miswak" it called "swak" originally it's more common in the middle east and it's natural and comes from a type of trees that contains things that actually good for tooth health but it doesn't taste bad at all probably doesn't even have taste or smell if it's natural it will have a very slight smell like leaves which isn't bad also it doesn't come off like that at all it stays one piece so this is probably not natural or from the wrong plant

Miswak actually smells so nice, it doesn’t smell “vinger-y” at all!! Maybe it didn’t suit you or there’s something was added to the Miswak or it’s different than what i used to.
Looks Ike she’s using a mistak stick to chew. Many west African nations have been using Datsun or licorice for centuries. These are soaked in peppermint or cinnamon. They taste great and are the reason people in these nations have very strong white teeth.

miswak hahahahha laughs in muslim i've never used an actual miswak toothbrush but my family uses miswak-flavoured toothpaste and they taste/smell great!!

On the first go when i was kid ,i didn't like it at all,tooooo much bitter in taste.but after watching my grandpa's and papa's teethish beauty i start using it.
