This year has been good to Tegan and Sara Quin, the identical twin sisters who lead the band Tegan And Sara. Their seventh studio album, 'Heartthrob,' premiered at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, and the duo recently made the short list for Canada's prestigious Polaris Music Prize. And it's easy to hear why: Tegan and Sara's fizzy brand of pop draws you in immediately with pulsing synths, a propulsive beat, and uncannily catchy melodies.

Wow, they really sped this version up. almost like they only had so much time to get the whole song in before a break.

A lot of the phrases are long, and the next follows really close. It's odd to get a breath, jam the words in and still be right on beat with the first word of the next phrase (esp the chorus)....and get enough air in there to still hold out the note at the *end* of that phrase. Have you ever tried to sing one of their parts non-stop? It's unusual. When they're live with an AUDIENCE though, that adrenaline seems to make a HUGE difference & they sound great. TV/radio has struggled, you're right.
