There are a couple ways to tell them apart. They have different tattoos, and Tegan has a piercing below her lip (she’s not wearing it in this interview tho).
I was walking in a town 8 miles away. Suddenly, a guy crashed through a plate glassed window yelling, "Jesus is a charlatan priest!" And yes he was on acid and yes, he was my friend from our town.and yes, six months later he stuck a gun in his mouth and yes he is no more. No acid for me, thank you very much.
@@KS-kb4zt These two are lesbian icons. Like most such duos, they probably were together for a few years and now they just perform together. I'm not a fan so I don't know the public story.
THIS IS GOING TO SOUND STRANGE. I GREW UP A RIGHT-WING CHRISTIAN (STILL AM A CHRISTIAN BUT NOT CONSERVATIVE). I WAS TOLD BEING GAY WAS A SIN AND THEY WERE GOING TO HELL AND TO HATE THEM. I STILL REMEMBER THE FIRST TIME I HEARD THIS BAND BECAUSE THEY HAD A PROFOUND IMPACT ON MY LIFE. I LISTENED TO AND LOVED THEIR MUSIC BEFORE I KNEW THEY WERE GAY. I LITERALLY CHANGED MY MIND ON GAY PEOPLE BECAUSE OF THIS BAND. I SEARCHED FOR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS THAT INDEED SHARED (MORE SO THAT NOT) MY OPINION ON GAYS. MUSIC CAN LITERALLY CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
@@RandoLePerson _ON IN AT_ was published. If I'm not mistaken, there was only the first edition, but it was a 3-volume fabric-bound set that came in a slipcase. It wasn't like a handmade book or something.
@@AisuruMirai A self published book is still that.. self published.. it just means that you paid for your own printing and promotion as opposed to a publisher covering it.
This interview is so much better than Lilly's Interview. He lets them speak, doesn't seem overly excited and calmly cracks jokes after they're done which actually are funny. Lilly's Interview seemed rushed didn't bring out their personality and how funny they actually are.
I didn't know that, @@Skepticalresident - there are a lot of Sanskrit words in Thai language (via ancient Khmer), maybe that folk belief comes from the same source. I must check with my friends in Indonesia and Lao: there are also a lot of Sanskrit words in Indonesian, but few in Lao. Thai not only is linguistically super similar to Lao but also shares a huge vocabulary. I would like to see if that 'first in, last out' thing is possibly from that shared Sanskrit source or is a wider belief across Southeast Asia.
Totally different from my twin relationships. My twin bro was born 7 minutes earlier than me and we were so close man. We have this special connection which Stephan was talking about. You can think of something and my bro goes: hey, why dont we??? I was like, hey, I was going to ask you about that. This connection is really special. I left my country and now I see him only through the internet. I miss him so much. He is my best friend forever! Love you man!
whatever they did, they look younger than they are/ I wish I knew LSD was doing that anti aging to me when I was in "high school" or is it that why it it is called "high" school?
My friends have twin girls and they created a parlour game where they pretend to read each other’s minds. It’s hilarious to watch them, mainly because most grade 10 kids will believe anything.
I did LSD with Tegan and Sarah and taught them how to drive while on LSD. I also did LSD with Steven Colbert and taught him how to do automotive barrel rolls.
i would recommend everyone try shrooms, lsd and high quality cocaine at least once in their life, but keep your ass away from heroin and meth. on the other hand i smoked opium the other day and dreamed trump was finally getting impeached
