Thank you so much for all the nice comments I've received here on RU-vid! Ajde Jano is one of my favourite melodies in this world, and I'm glad you all like this version I learned from the best of the best Lelo Nika in Malmö, Sweden 2005. Love, Teija
@@Lana-qy4cb Poor people, and the people from whom many nations originated, but that history is forbidden ... and you have heard many great minds for some. It doesn't matter. The song is more than 200 years old and the people ... much more.
UNBELIEVABLE, she is from Finland play one of greatest Serbian song - Come on Yana , you are brilliant.
Teija, congratulations on some serious button accordion playing. If you're not from the Balkans then your teacher must be praised. It sounds amazingly real!

@RechkeSRB Musicians are all from Finland. I've learned this version from my Serbian teacher Lelo Nika. There are many different versions all over the Balkans and elsewhere.
Unbelievable! As many ex-Yugoslavs have said here, Teija, you nailed it! You do it even better than autochton performers. And it is no small feat. 'Ajde Jano' is for me, also, as it is for you, 'one of my favorite melodies in this world'. Listening to you playing - dunno how many times in a row already - I'm now in Heaven! (no exaggeration :)) Greetings from Zagreb, Croatia
simply beautiful even our singer Vasilija Radojcic who sang this song and made it so popular not just in Serbia but as well outside of Serbia too. So many world artists and dancers are having this beautiful piece in their repertoare
I'm serb blood and french born, i love this song who remind me the mountain of metohija, and i love when the stranger of serbian culture play this song You give a another dimension, better than most of serb version, you are for me in top 5, whith Nigel Kennedy, Kroke band, Tanja moderato, Klezmer band... @mmarkomann :You should have translate that "she plays like a dragon". Perhap she would be interested to know that "like a dragon" (kao zmaj) is one of the best compliments in serbian :)

That's and awesome song, and the way you interpret is simply beautiful to the core. Speaks across national and linguistic barriers to something hidden deep inside. Thumbs up for Finns performing old Serbian traditional music.
