It’s always better to have a healthy balance of “instant” and “delayed” offense. Instant allows you to keep pressure, but if you do it too much you’ll get predictable. Delayed allows you to read your opponent and counter them with greater ease. Do that too much and you lose momentum and opportunity to gain advantage.
an interesting thing i found in tekken is that i came to the rhythmic pressure naturally, so i was a beast in low rank lmao i think i came to it naturally because i have done kendo before, and i loved doing debana waza, (cringy as it sounds) its pretty cool, you attack before the opponent does, catching them off gaurd. it was one of my main techniques i loved to do and i think this naturally transfered to my jin's f4 which is amazing similarly to irl, if i missed i was fucked lmao
