I remember the first time i picked Zafina in T6. At that time i didnt knew she was that bad but i still fell in love inmediatly with her fighting style.
The game that made me fall in love with her. Zafina was so bad but so interesting to play in T6, i became instantly obsessed when i first played her. 🥺
The two hits into Bound is so visually satisfying, prob because it aligns perfectly with the falling opponent. They butchered the animation in 7 and kept it through 8. Wish they'd revert it back to 6/T2 animation and give it different property like hitting grounded or smth.
1:52 The last hit of TRT 4,3 / d2,4,3 is basically a slower version of the old SCR 3+4 animation. So it's still there but yeah I prefer the old animation too.
Zafina was so dogshit in Tekken 6 man, it was only right she became broken in Tekken 7. But now in Tekken 8 she's kinda below the middle. I also preferred how she played in Tekken 7. Tekken 8 Zafina is too reliant on wr 1+2 and armored stance df1 on heat to deal with the aggression mechanics and I don't really like it as much.
