The sad thing about fighting games being pure skill is that most people can't really buy into watching the game as the barrier to entry into most fighting games is so high compared to other esports like mobas. Point is the more skill it takes to be decent at the game the more off putting it is for people to watch it
+Nekros4442 The amount of skill required for top competitive play in tekken is honestly ridiculous. It requires a hellish amount of no lifing the game to get that good. I'd probably cry too if I spend nearly everyday and all my free time training on a fighting game for a big tournament like this one and not get jack shit for all the effort I put in it.
the arcade version always comes out 1 year before the actual game, i know because back then i played tekken 5 and 6 on an arcade machine way before the console release, but ofc the console version will be better.

I hate how ridiculous Tekken has become. I'm all for customisation but come on. I don't want to be playing against characters that look like clowns, I'd rather see the characters in their original costumes with colour changes for customisation

The game is only in arcade 0.1 format and the finished version is not even out and we are already having Tekken 7 Global Championships? I'm super excited for the game, but give me a release date before you start trying to get me to worship top players who always have an edge over everyone else because they have unlimited access to a game that the rest of the world doesn't.
I have to credit NOBI, i like him too, along with all the tekken prodigies, but you can see Knee is not himself, he's not at his best.. He's not playing with spirit. And whenever he keeps using devil jin, he loses LOL.. He should go back to using bryan fury.

knee was certainly not at his best. He could have punished with electric so many times and he even dropped combos. Nobi, on the other hand, played solid and pressured Knee to the wall in almost every game within 15 seconds. GG!
3:00 Knee tried to do ff3... combo but Drag was so far Knee held forward so long he got a running 3 instead of a deep dash, it happens to me a lot actually (i'm nowhere close to Knee's level but still, it shows that it happens) idk why Aris and Markman were surprised
I always wanted to know why is Tekken 7 getting so much hate? I know while back to people use to say Tekken 5 was the greatest Tekken at ever... No Bounds and the rage system was just solid. Then Tekken 6 released with bounds and stage transitions can some of the community didn't like how the game is played. Then Tag 2 was out and its lot more better and its alot then Tekken 6 to this day. Now it comes up to Tekken 7 where the game is still unfinished and not complete yet but its being judged in a negative manner. Tekken being one of the most greatest fighting games in the world, why is Street Fighter, Marvel and Mortal Kombat get so much recognition while Tekken goes no where? I really want to understand why? I prefer 3D over 2D...i am asking alot so I want to get people's opinion on this and please no trolling necessary...i want to have a healthy unbiased discussion
It's probably because tekken is super popular in one region and popular in others but not as popular in the world unlike street fighter and the others which is worldwide. But I am a big tekken fan and prefer to play tekken than other fighting games
hate to say it but i think theres a cheat in tekken. with in 6:16 . i see that happen all the time. people have 2 wins and that opponent losing will get that lucky hit and gain a win. i think they make the winning person have slow reflexes with input lag or blocking does not work. either way it always happens from what i see
You would think at one point he would feel that low coming and attempt a anti-low or a low counter. Those instant running 2 are scary but man... 4lows in a row... then another one xD I feel bad for him.
