MenaRD beat Kazunoko, Xian, Daigo, Itazan, Nemo and Tokido in Capcom cup OMG!!!He really earned it.Congrats my man!

I don't follow SFV much but dang. This was intense. Menas face after winning...he was in disbelief. Congrats to him!

This was the biggest upset of the year, but I won't lie or take this away from the two by saying they played their ass off. I wanted Tokido to win and make history as being the first player to win EVO and Capcom Cup back to back but MenaRD proved how much he wanted it more. Please don't call him names and say things like "If this was USFIV Mena would've been blown up by Tokido." Whether that is true or not this is SFV not USFIV. Show the guy some respect as Tokido did. Congratulations MenaRD.

I love those moments when the winner is so stunned everything slows down. They put the controller down slowly, move slowly and you can just see the "holy fuck" in every speck of their being. Shout out to Birdie mains!

Through out the year, MenaRD had multiple matches again both Punk and NuckleDu, either win or lose, those were very close matches, so I am not surprise with the result today. He really proved himself by beating Xian, Daigo (former EVO champs), Kazunoko (former Capcom champ), Itazan, Nemo who both have excellent performances today. Finally, he bested Tokido, who is considered the best Street Fighter 5 player at the moment. This is history, and well-deserved for MenaRD

Tokido disappointed me in the 3rd match. he was 2-0, a couple hits aways from winning it and he ex wakeups them damn uppercuts. He lost the game there. Really wanted my demon to be and stay nr 1 this year. If he‘d played more like he did against punk.. And if he‘d rely less on demon flips and that 50/50 set up (which mena studied and guess what wasn‘t cought once) he would‘ve scared the shit out of mena. Props to mena though, in the end winning this stacked tournament and take the finals from tokido in losers is really something.

All this talk about USA being the best in SF5 while MIA at CC Top 8. Lol.

A shame that Mena stopped the year of Tokido from happening. On the other hand, congrats Mena! A great player who has shown that the new generation of SF players are extremely strong.

Hands down one of the most hype SF tournaments ever. The grand finals alone ranks up there with Armada/Hungrybox at Evo 2016 as far as drama and comeback factor are concerned. But we had a LCQ winner finishing 3rd in the Capcom Cup itself, some insanely technical and exciting matches throughout (that Moke/Punk match!!), and a BIRDIE player from the Dominican Republic defeating the reigning Evo champ to win it all. And on top of all that, we learned we're getting Sakura and Sagat and Cody and Blanka next season. This gives me a lot of optimism for SFV in 2018, no doubt about it.

People talking crap about Birdie's ex moves but won't mention how Tokido FUCKED Up a couple times and let MenaRD get back in it. Go take that salt somewhere else
